Vice President Kamala Harris has reportedly called Donald Trump to congratulate him on winning the 2024 presidential election, according to a senior Harris aide.

While speaking with Trump, Harris also expressed the “importance of a peaceful transfer of power and being a president for all Americans.” Harris is scheduled to address the nation this afternoon from Howard University in Washington, D.C. at 4 p.m. ET.

President Joe Biden has also called Trump to congratulate him on his election victory and to invite him to the White House to discuss the transition. Note – to this day, Trump has never congratulated Biden on his win in 2020.
