Some news stories I thought worth your time:
• The Florida Phoenix: The Human Rights Campaign’s annual report evaluating LGBTQ inclusivity found 7 cities in Florida — Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Miami, Orlando, St Petersburg, Tampa, and Wilton Manors — received 100% scores. That’s surprising in light of the ongoing attacks on queer rights in the Sunshine State by Gov. DeSantis and his crew.
• LGBTQ Nation: Meanwhile, a funeral home worker in Florida is out of a job after video of him attacking a Pride flag at a Starbucks was shared online, and he was arrested.
“I made some poor decisions,” he later explained to the judge.

• The Caftan Chronicles: Tim Murphy chats with the oh-so-talented Javier Muñoz, who replaced Lin-Manuel Miranda in both Hamilton and In The Heights on Broadway. Munoz has long been open about his HIV status and, in recent months, he’s been really working hard to save domestic HIV funding.
• Variety: Gay romance series Heated Rivalry—about a secret affair between competing hockey stars—was initially made for Canadian TV, but HBO Max has announced it’ll stream the series in the U.S. beginning with a two episode premiere on Nov. 28.
• Politico: The U.S. Labor Department announced that it is cancelling the October jobs report. For the first time since 2013, we will not be receiving a monthly jobs report.
• New York Times: In an awkward courtroom hearing today, U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan – a personal lawyer to Donald Trump who he handpicked to prosecute former FBI Director James Comey – admitted that she never presented the final version of the Comey indictment to the full grand jury before the foreperson signed the charging document. #RuhRoh
Aside from corrupt purpose, this prosecution’s incompetence is staggering. Any government attorney failing to show a grand jury the actual indictment would be sacked. So should this one—fire Acting U.S. Attorney Halligan & dismiss the indictment. https://t.co/cV15PDqemT
