Washington Post: Virginia voters have approved a referendum to draw new congressional districts that could add as many as four Democratic seats to the House of Representatives, awarding Democrats an advantage in the national redistricting war begun by Republicans.

Parade Magazine: Dancing with the Stars pro Mark Ballas apologized to fans after being forced to leave last night’s performance of CHICAGO on Broadway during the first act due to illness.

CNN: The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) was indicted by a federal grand jury for allegedly paying informants to penetrate White supremacist, anti-LGBTQ, Nazi parties, and other organizations to “infiltrate” their ranks, learn about their activities and report their insight to law enforcement. I don’t see the problem…

Axios: DonaldTrump has told confidants that Florida’s term-limited Gov. Ron DeSantis is “begging” for a job having expressed interest in being attorney general, secretary of defense, and even a spot on the U.S. Supreme Court.

Washington Post: Trump has extended the current ceasefire indefinitely as Iran says it won’t join talks now.

CNN: Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick (D-FL) resigned from Congress (avoiding an expulsion vote) after being found guilty by the Ethics Committee on several charges, including funneling millions in COVID relief to her campaign. She has denied wrongdoing.

New York Post: Lawmakers in both houses of Parliament have approved legislation that would ban anyone born after 2008 in the UK from purchasing tobacco in hopes of creating a “smoke-free generation.”
