Alt-Right Idiot U-Turns On Trump Criticism After Losing Hundreds Of Twitter Followers

Funny how ego always comes in to play.

Author Christoph Rehage captured the rise, fall and denouement of InfoWars idiot Paul Joseph Watson in the world of Twitter.

Watson, who has developed a following on Twitter for his regular praise of Donald Trump, told the world he was “officially OFF the Trump train” in light of the president’s bombing of Syria.

But when his Twitter followers began to get off the “Watson train” he took note, and reversed himself.

Watson explained himself by saying his original tweet meant he was “off the Trump train in terms of Syria, but I have not ‘turned on Trump.'”

Of course, Mr. Watson.  Of course…

Trump Calls Out “Sleepy Eyes” Chuck Todd For Continuing To Cover Russia/Trump Scandal

President Trump woke up today to chide NBC Political Director Chuck “Sleepy Eyes” Todd for continuing to report on the Trump/Russian connection:

“When will Sleepy Eyes Chuck Todd and @NBCNews start talking about the Obama SURVEILLANCE SCANDAL and stop with the Fake Trump/Russia story?”

“It is the same Fake News Media that said there is “no path to victory for Trump” that is now pushing the phony Russia story. A total scam!”

When all 17 U.S. intelligence agencies agree that Russia worked to disrupt and influence our presidential election, that’s not what I’d call a “total scam.”

Trump Twitter Meltdown Hours Before FBI Director Testifies At Intelligence Committee Hearing

Just hours before FBI Director James Comey is to testify at a Congressional hearing about Russia’s involvement in the 2016 presidential campaign and Donald Trump’s unproven allegations that President Obama wiretapped Trump’s phones at Trump Tower, Trump primed the pump with some rehashed tweets.

During the campaign last year, Trump had no problem with leaked information about Hillary Clinton. When asked about worries of leaked info, he said “But look at the info we now have.”

Shoe on the other foot now, Trump denies any of the information leaked about him, and only wants to know who leaked it.

Karms is kinda funny, isn’t it?

Pro-Trump Twitter Troll Arrested For Allegedly Causing Reporter’s Epileptic Seizure

Journalist Kurt Eichenwald shared today that a Trump supporter, who allegedly sent him a strobing GIF meant to cause an epileptic seizure via Twitter, has been arrested.

After a December appearance on Fox News, a Twitter troll sent a flashing message to Eichenwald that read “you deserve a seizure,” which triggered an epileptic episode.

Via Newsweek:

An alleged Twitter troll behind a virtual attack that caused Newsweek senior writer Kurt Eichenwald to suffer a seizure was arrested on Friday. The suspect faces federal charges and could face additional counts in Dallas, where Eichenwald lives, according to the writer.

Steven Lieberman, Eichenwald’s lawyer, named the suspect as John Rivello. A law enforcement official who spoke on the condition of anonymity confirmed the name. FBI officials arrested the man at his home in in Salisbury, Maryland, around 7 a.m. on Friday, according to Lieberman. Rivello was expected to appear at a hearing in federal court in Baltimore on Friday afternoon, Lieberman said.

“What Mr. Rivello did with his Twitter message was no different from someone sending a bomb in the mail or sending an envelope filled with Anthrax spores,” Lieberman says. “It wasn’t the content of the communication that was intended to persuade somebody or make them feel badly about themselves; This was an electronic communication that was designed to have a physical effect.”

On December 15, hours after Eichenwald appeared on Tucker Carlson Tonight, the Twitter user @jew_goldstein tweeted a strobing image to the writer that allegedly said, “You deserve a seizure.” Later that night, in a reply to @jew_goldstein, a post appeared on the Eichenwald’s Twitter feed that said, “This is his wife, you caused a seizure. I have your information and have called the police to report the assault.”

The next day, Eichenwald tweeted that he would be working with lawyers and law enforcement. “Last night, for the second time, a deplorable aware I have epilepsy tweeted a strobe at me with the message ‘you deserve a seizure’ on it,” he wrote. “It worked. This is not going to happen again. My wife is terrified. I am…disgusted.”

Eichenwald had previously written for Newsweek about his being epileptic and about how another person had sent him a strobing message. That attack did not cause a seizure.

Eichenwald filed a petition in Dallas County court on December 19, requesting an expedited discovery process so that he could seek records from Twitter. A judge granted the petition later that day.

Eichenwald shared via Twitter today:

Trump Tweets “Respect For Women,” Twitter Remembers Differently

President Trump took to Twitter this morning (for a change) to tweet a bit of something for International Women’s Day.

The response Trump got, however, probably wasn’t what he was expecting.

The Twitterverse has a long memory, and folks were quick to remind the president just how much he “respects” women by sharing one of his most infamous quotes, word for word:

Here’s just a few of the choice responses Trump got on Twitter:

Trump Accuses Obama Of Wiretapping During Election

President Trump, clearly having withdraws symptoms from a pretty disciplined week with Twitter, made up for lost time this morning with wild allegations and announcements that “Obama had my ‘wires tapped’ in Trump Tower,” offering no proof of wrong doing, and ignoring the fact that for months now the intelligence community has confirmed to the world that members of the Trump campaign had been in contact with Russian officials.

The allegation seems to come from a Breitbart article (that alone tells you how wild this is) that reports the Obama administration filed a request with the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA) to monitor communications involving Donald Trump and several advisers during the campaign.

The Breitbart article goes on, using conservative radio show host Mark Levin’s opinions as source, to say that “none of the allegations” concerning Russian contact or items in the “intelligence dossier” could be confirmed. This from a conservative radio host who has no details or information from the intelligence community about what information they actually have. It’s hard to believe Levin would know, at this point, what the FBI or CIA has fully determined as “fact.”

What does seem to be fact is IF a wire tap was ordered, then that happened because federal investigators presented a FISA court with sufficient evidence to warrant a wire tap. If so, I think the American people deserve to see what evidence prompted a judge to grant a wire tap.

By the way, it turns out that members of Team Trump DID have contact with Russian officials, as we now know. Not only fired former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, but Attorney General Jeff Sessions and son-in-law Jared Kushner.

Trump blamed everything wrong in America on President Obama during the campaign. Is he now going to spend the next four years blaming Obama for everything wrong in the Trump administration?

It’s notable that Trump has a penchant for creating controversy to distract from bad news going on in his administration, like that of Jeff Sessions this week. This is likely his attempt to change that conversation.

The tweets come off like a wild animal who feels threatened.

Trump Tweet Watch: February 17, 2107

After staying on message almost all day, the Donald just couldn’t handle it anymore and had to go rogue on Twitter yet again against the media.

It’s notable how often Trump says “fake news media” is the enemy, but never says the regarding Russia undermining our democracy.

When you’re the guy with a 38% approval rating, it takes nerve to call someone else “failing.”

TwitterLand Rejoices Over Trump’s “Easy D” Tweet

An impatient President Trump tweeted on Wednesday: “Big increase in traffic into our country from certain areas, while our people are far more vulnerable, as we wait for what should be EASY D!”

The tweet related to the wait for a decision from the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals regarding Trump’s immigration policy.

But the “EASY D” found readers a bit perplexed. While he probably meant “easy decision,” some folks thought Trump might be going for the chill vibe. Others headed in a whole different direction.

And TwitterLand rejoiced:

Trump Slaps Nordstrom Department Store For Dropping Daughter’s Fashion Line

President Crybaby is upset this morning that First Daughter Ivanka Trump’s line of merchandise was dropped by Nordstrom Department store last week for poor sales.

Nordstrom said last week that the brand’s declining sales led to its decision. “Each year we cut about 10% [of brands carried] and refresh our assortment with about the same amount,” a Nordstrom representative told Business Insider. “In this case, based on the brand’s performance we’ve decided not to buy it for this season.”

So what’s a dad to do when he feels his daughter’s been slighted? Take to Twitter, of course.

According to White House schedule, this tweet was sent 20 minutes into his daily intelligence briefing. Is it possible his head’s not in the game?

For someone who’s claim to fame is being a successful businessman, I’m surprised that Trump believes being “a great person” should equal success in business.

I wonder how many “great” people Trump has refused to pay for their services over the years?

UPDATE – “Sparky” Spicer did ‘attack dog’ duty on the issue when asked about it today.

Via TalkingPointsMemo:

Spicer told reporters during his daily press briefing that the decision — which Nordstrom said was a result of poor sales, not politics — was because of the clothing company’s displeasure with President Donald Trump’s executive orders and his policies.

“I think this is less about his family’s business and an attack on his daughter,” Spicer said. “He ran for president. He won. He’s leading this country. I think for people to take out their concern about his actions or his executive orders on members of his family, he has every right to stand up for his family and applaud their business activities, their success.”
