It appears the Supreme Court may be ready to erase another key piece of the Voting Rights Act. This time by striking down Louisiana’s Black-majority district for “relying too much on race.”

The Independent: A 42-year-old Texas man, Joshua Cole (above), is facing federal charges after allegedly threatening to shoot up the Abilene Pride Parade. “Fk their parade…come on bro let’s go hunting fairies,” he reportedly wrote in a Facebook message.

SCOTUS: Parents Can Opt Kids Out Of Lessons With LGBTQ Books

The Supreme Court has ruled parents have a right to prevent their kids from reading books with LGBTQ characters.

Supreme Court Curbs Injunctions That Block Trump’s Birthright Citizenship Plan

In a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court has granted a partial stay of nationwide injunctions issued by district courts against Donald Trump’s executive order to effectively end birthright citizenship ruling that individual federal judges do not have the authority to issue nationwide injunction.

Supreme Court Allows Trump To Strip Legal Protections From 530K Immigrants

The Supreme Court will allow the Trump administration to proceed, for now, with a plan to revoke temporary legal protections for hundreds of thousands of immigrants.

In a 7-2 vote the court ruled that Trump violated the due process rights of Venezuelan migrants in its expedited removal efforts using the 18th century wartime law.
