For #FlashbackFriday, I’m revisiting this gorgeous Bridgerton-inspired same-sex waltz performed by the oh-so-talented dance pros of the UK’s Strictly Come Dancing back in 2021.
Set to a lush arrangement of Taylor Swift’s “Lover” and “Love Story,” the dance begins with mixed-sex couples who pause as Johannes Radebe enters via a grand staircase to meet his dance partner Kai Widdrington.
The duo then lead the group in a sweeping same-sex waltz that left the audience blown away. The choreography is stunningly beautiful, and you can see the joy in the pros faces as they couple up with their same-sex partners.
