Alaska: Former half-term Gov. Sarah Palin and family allegedly involved in drunken brawl

Former half-term Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin

Alaskan political blogger Amanda Coyne is reporting that it was a hot night in the old North last Saturday night when Sarah Palin and family showed up at a party in Anchorage which turned into a drunken brawl:

There’s some sort of unofficial birthday/Iron Dog-type/snowmachine party in Anchorage. A nice, mellow party, until the Palin’s show up.

There’s beer, of course, and maybe other things. Which is all fine, but just about the time when some people might have had one too many, a Track Palin stumbles out of a stretch Hummer, and immediately spots an ex-boyfriend of Willow’s. Track isn’t happy with this guy, the story goes. There’s words, and more.

The owner of the house gets involved, and he probably wished he hadn’t. At this point, he’s up against nearly the whole Palin tribe: Palin women screaming. Palin men thumping their chests. Word is that Bristol has a particularly strong right hook, which she employed repeatedly, and it’s something to hear when Sarah screams, “Don’t you know who I am!” And it was particularly wonderful when someone in the crowd screamed back, “This isn’t some damned Hillbilly reality show!”

No, it’s what happens when the former First Family of Alaska comes knocking. As people were leaving in a cab, Track was seen on the street, shirtless, flipping people off, with Sarah right behind him, and Todd somewhere in the foreground, tending to his bloody nose.

A spokesperson for the Anchorage Police Department confirmed that members of the Palin family were involved in a public fight in Anchorage on Saturday night, but that no arrests were made because no one pressed charges.

Sarah Palin thinks fast food restaurants are “of the Devil” or something

Former half-term governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin, now has her own internet channel where for $9.95 a month you can see captivating content like this.

In the clip below, Palin responds to Senator Elizabeth Warren’s (D-MA) 11-point list of progressive beliefs, which Palin rebutted one-by-one late last week.   I think the former governor needed to organize her thoughts a bit more before hitting “Publish:”

“Wait, I thought fast food joints, [makes a get-outta-here gesture]. Don’t you guys think that they’re, like, of the Devil or something? That’s what — Liberals, you want to send those evil employees who would dare work at a fast food joint that you just don’t believe in, thought you wanted to, I dunno, send them to Purgatory or something. So they all go vegan and, uh, wages and picket lines, I dunno, they’re not often discussed in Purgatory, are they? I dunno why are you even worried about fast food wages because…”

From Miss Betty Bowers: “Soused Sarah Ssshpeaks to Conssshervativesssssh”

Miss Betty Bowers, America’s Best Christian, shares her latest video – “Soused Sarah Ssshpeaks to Conssshervativesssssh”

From Miss Betty: “Sarah Palin recently gave a speech after taking a fistful of prescription goodness. The only surprise? It actually did have a discernible effect on her word salad! I couldn’t resist having a little Fair Use fun with video (but only out of Christian concern).”

Sarah Palin calls for the impeachment of President Obama

Sarah Palin has written an essay for Breitbart calling for the impeachment of President Obama:

“Enough is enough of the years of abuse from this president. His unsecured border crisis is the last straw that makes the battered wife say, ‘no mas.’

President Obama’s rewarding of lawlessness, including his own, is the foundational problem here. It’s not going to get better, and in fact irreparable harm can be done in this lame-duck term as he continues to make up his own laws as he goes along, and, mark my words, will next meddle in the U.S. Court System with appointments that will forever change the basic interpretation of our Constitution’s role in protecting our rights.

It’s time to impeach; and on behalf of American workers and legal immigrants of all backgrounds, we should vehemently oppose any politician on the left or right who would hesitate in voting for articles of impeachment. The many impeachable offenses of Barack Obama can no longer be ignored. If after all this he’s not impeachable, then no one is.”

Nevermind that the president has done nothing that even approaches “high crimes” against the country.  Details, details…

Ms. Palin then sat down for a chat with Sean Hannity later in the day to discuss further her incoherent thoughts on impeachment.  You can watch that interview here, if you can stand to hear her voice.  I find it difficult to post even a static picture of her on The Randy Report, let alone a video.

The former half-term governor of Alaska has also indicated she’s interested in becoming a host on The View.

Versatile one, this Palin, no? Constitutional scholar and reality show host.

Sarah Palin on Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl

Sarah Palin today: “You blew it, Mr. President… A Soldier expressing horrid anti-American beliefs – even putting them in writing and unabashedly firing off his messages while in uniform, just three days before he left his unit on foot – is no ‘honorable service.'”

Sarah Palin in 2009: “Todd and I are praying for Private First Class Bowe Bergdahl, his family, and all of his fellow soldiers who are putting their lives on the line to defend our freedom and protect democracy abroad.”

Christians angry over Sarah Palin’s “water-boarding/baptizing” comments

In a speech Saturday to the National Rifle Association, former half-term governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin, said that “if I were in charge, they would know that water-boarding is how we baptize terrorists.”

Now, Faithful America, a large online community of Christians, has launched an effort to publicly denounce former Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin after she mocked one of the religion’s most important rituals by comparing it to waterboarding:

For Christians, torture is not a joke or a political punchline, but a ghastly reminder of the suffering of Jesus upon the cross. By equating it with Holy Baptism — the act by which we are united with Christ in his death and resurrection — Sarah Palin is blasphemously twisting our faith into a weapon of hatred and violence. No media outlet should cover her remarks without reporting on how sincere Christians of all theological and political persuasions are appalled.

You can check out the petition here.  The original goal was 15,000 signatures.  It’s now exceeded 42,000.

Faithful America isn’t the only Christian group to speak out.

“Gov. Palin was attempting to appeal to the basest political populism (nothing in her remarks could be construed as genuinely conservative) by claiming that current U.S. counterterrorism policy is overly-tolerant and empathetic toward our enemies,” Joe Carter of The Gospel Coalition wrote. “Unfortunately, what Palin is proposing is a mixture of pagan ethics and civil deistic religion.”

Sarah Palin endorses Abbott:”Good enough for Ted Nugent, good enough for me”

Sarah Palin, former half-term governor of Alaska, has endorsed Greg Abbott for governor of Texas saying he is “good enough:”

“Check the box for another good conservative – Greg Abbott for Governor of Texas. Like Katrina, Greg has overcome many personal obstacles and challenges, which have made him a believer in the power of liberty and the need to defend our freedoms from the overreach of an out-of-control federal government. If he is good enough for Ted Nugent, he is good enough for me!”

Speaking of Ted Nugent, that would be the same guy who last month described President Obama as “subhuman mongrel.”

That is the same language Nazis called Jews to justify the genocide of the Jewish community.

I’m guessing that’s good enough for Sarah Palin, too.

Reality show flop Sarah Palin chats with Mario Lopez on running for prez in 2016

“Extra’s” Mario Lopez sat down for a chat with former half-term Alaska Governor Sarah Palin about her upcoming reality show, “Amazing America with Sarah Palin,” which her team hopes runs longer than her first try at the genre.

Palin talks about many things, including whether or not she might run for president in 2016.

Not that anyone has asked her to run, mind you.

On running for president: “You know I don’t have a crystal ball. I don’t know what I’m going to do politically, but certainly want to inspire people to be involved, debate and be competitive in order to make this country better and allow all of us equal opportunity. I want to help people who can be in positions to enact some policies.”

On the news of Katie Couric’s talk show being cancelled: “Do you believe in karma? I certainly believe that what goes around comes around… I remember getting a couple of texts that said things like, ‘Oh sorry that it didn’t work out there at CBS or ABC…’ The ratings were going in the tank with her as one of the head honchos there in the newsroom at CBS and then it didn’t surprise me, her other move. Things weren’t going real well there, either.”

Meow.

You might recall that Palin’s first reality show, Sarah Palin’s Alaska, was cancelled after airing only 8 episodes.

Sarah Palin admits she never read the Phil Robertson interview she defended

Well, this should come as no surprise.

Sarah Palin, the former half-term governor of Alaska, made an appearance on Greta Van Susteren’s show last night to talk about the endangered species that is “free speech,” and the Duck Dynasty debacle.

It turns out Ms. Palin, who jumped at the chance to stand up for Phil Robertson and his comments comparing homosexuality and bestiality, had never even read the interview.

When pressed by Fox News host Greta Van Susteren whether the language Robertson used when talking about his opposition to homosexuality was graphic and offensive, Palin admitted she didn’t know what Robertson had said.

“I haven’t read the article. I don’t know exactly how he said it,” Palin said Monday on Fox News’s “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren.”

After the GQ interview was published, Palin immediately came to Robertson’s defense by posting a statement on Facebook saying it was an issue of free speech and defended his comments in a TV appearance with Sean Hannity.

“I defend what he said! What did he say?”

Priceless.
