Hillary Clinton Up +10 Over Donald Trump In New National Poll

The latest Fairleigh Dickinson University PublicMind poll shows Democrat Hillary Clinton with a 10 point lead over Republican Donald Trump.

As a matter of fact, the Democratic ticket beats the Republican team no matter how you mix it up. GOP veep pick Mike Pence does decidedly better than his running mate against Hillary Clinton.

Via press release:

In the race for the White House, the most recent national survey of likely voters from Fairleigh Dickinson University’s PublicMind finds Democrat Hillary Clinton with a ten-point lead over Republican Donald Trump. However, if Clinton were instead facing Trump’s running mate, Mike Pence, the race would be a statistical dead heat. If Trump were up against Clinton’s running mate, Tim Kaine, he would fare even worse than he is against the former Secretary of State.

Right now, half of all likely voters (50%) say that if the election were held today, they would vote for Clinton. Forty percent would vote for Trump. When third-party candidates are included among the list of candidates, Clinton and Trump both experience a four percent reduction in support – Clinton to 46 percent and Trump to 36 percent.

“The post-presidential debate landscape is clearly favoring Clinton. Trump’s continued weight shaming of a former Miss Universe and the weekend disclosure of his 1995 tax returns are but a sample of difficult news coverage for the Republican candidate,” said Krista Jenkins, professor of political science and director of the FDU poll, PublicMind.

Poll: Hillary Clinton Leads In Pennsylvania +9

More good news for Hillary Clinton today as the latest Franklin & Marshall College Poll shows her now leading Republican Donald Trump by 9 points in Pennsylvania.

The survey shows Clinton with 47% support versus Trump’s 38%. Libertarian Gary Johnson receives 5%, while Green Party candidate Jill Stein registers 0% support.

Many see Pennsylvania and Virginia as Clinton’s “firewall” keeping Trump from the necessary 270 electoral college votes.

Even if you give Trump Ohio, Iowa and Florida (which Obama won) from the 2012 results, he still can’t get across the goal line.

Hillary Clinton Up Over 70% Chance Of Winning The White House

The latest from super-stats guy, Nate Silver at  FiveThirtyEight.com.

Hillary back over 71% probability of winning the race for the White House.

Notable changes in the forecast include Florida, Nevada and North Carolina swinging into the Blue column.

This is only a snapshot of today’s polls, but good news all the same.

Additionally, the latest CNN/ORC poll shows Hillary now leading by 5 points nationally.

From The Hill:

A new CNN/ORC poll finds Hillary Clinton opening up a 5-point lead over Donald Trump since last week’s presidential debate. Clinton leads Trump 47 percent to 42 percent with likely voters in the CNN/ORC survey released Monday. A CNN/ORC poll conducted before the contest found Trump leading her by 2 points, 45 percent to 43 percent.

In the new poll, Libertarian presidential nominee Gary Johnson grabs 7 percent, followed by Green Party presidential nominee Jill Stein with 2 percent. One percent picked no one and 1 percent had no opinion.

New Politico Poll: Hillary Leads Donald +6

After what was arguably Republican Donald Trump’s worst week in his run for the White House, Democrat Hillary Clinton has opened up a 6 point lead over Trump in the latest POLITICO/Morning Consult poll of likely voters.

With only five weeks left in the campaign, Clinton leads 42-36 in a four way race that includes Libertarian Gary Johnson (9%) and Green Party candidate Jill Stein (2%). This represents seven point swing for the Trumpster – heading into the first presidential debate, he was leading by one point in the same poll.

In a head-to-head race between Trump and Clinton, Clinton leads by seven points, 46 percent to 39 percent.

Part of the dramatic change appears due to Trump’s attacks on former Miss Universe, Alicia Machado. Of those polled, 74% said they had heard about the flap between the billionaire and the beauty.

Fifty-five percent of women said it gives them a less favorable view of Trump, and 43 percent of voters said the incident makes them less likely to support Trump.

Florida: Hillary Clinton Moves Up

Likely voters in Florida give Democrat Hillary Clinton a 4 point lead (46% – 42%) over Donald Trump in the latest Mason-Dixon Poll.

These are the first Sunshine State polling results since the first presidential debate, which Clinton was widely credited with winning.

RealClearPolitics polling average for Florida now shows Clinton ahead by 1.2% in the important swing state, and trending upwards.
