Kellyanne Conway Complains Media Never Covered ‘Bowling Green Massacre’ – Because It Didn’t Happen

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, who spends 24/7 deriding the media because they won’t give Trump positive strokes or “warm fuzzies,” stepped in it last night when she referenced the “Bowling Green massacre,” an event that never happened.

Reuters has the details:

On television late on Thursday, Conway spoke about two Iraqis who came to the United States and were radicalized, adding, erroneously, “and they were the masterminds behind the Bowling Green massacre.”

She then said: “Most people don’t know that because it didn’t get covered.”

In fact, in May 2011, two Iraqi men were arrested in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and charged with attempting to send weapons and money to al Qaeda in Iraq. They admitted to using improvised explosive devices against U.S. soldiers in Iraq.

Mohanad Shareef Hammadi and Waad Ramadan Alwan pleaded guilty and were sentenced to life in prison and to 40 years in prison, respectively. Neither was charged with plotting attacks within the United States, prosecutors said.

Conway later tweeted that she meant to say “Bowling Green terrorists” instead of “massacre.” And in another tweet, “Honest mistakes abound.”

Kellyanne Conway Gloats Over Immigrant Ban: “Get Used To It”

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway caused a stir on Twitter today as she crowed about the response to President Trump’s executive order banning immigrants from 7 Muslim-majority nations.

“Get used to it. @POTUS is a man of action and impact. Promises made, promises kept. Shock to the system. And he’s just getting started.”

Backlash to the executive order has already begun as the Iranian foreign ministry that says Iran will resort to “counteraction” to Trump’s executive order.

“Iran, to defend the dignity of the great Iranian nation, will implement the principle of reciprocity until the removal of the insulting restriction against Iranian nationals,” the statement reads. “It will apply corresponding legal, consular and political actions.”

Kellyanne Conway: Tiffany Trump Is NOT Registered To Vote In Two States

Donald Trump has announced that he wants a “major investigation” into voter fraud, saying he would have won the popular vote had it not been for 3-5 million “illegal” votes cast for Hillary Clinton.

Part of what drives Trump’s logic on the issue is his assertion that many, many people are registered to vote in two or more states, which is not illegal. His belief seems to be folks are registering and voting in duplicate states across the country.

Ergo, anyone with “dual registrations” must be suspect of voter fraud?

Well, it turns out his own daughter, Tiffany Trump, is registered to vote in both New York and Pennsylvania. According to reports, having been a student at the University of Pennsylvania until last May, she was registered to vote in Philadelphia. But this fall, she registered in New York City so she could vote for her father in the New York state primary.

A Philadelphia County elections official confirmed to NBC News on Thursday that Tiffany continues to be listed as active in the voter rolls there. In addition, public records in New York City, where she now lives, also list her as registered to vote there.

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway told The Today Show‘s Matt Lauer that it isn’t true that Tiffany Trump is registered in both states. “I talked last night to Tiffany Trump, and she said it is flatly false that she is registered in two states,” Conway said Thursday.

“She had been registered in Pennsylvania and went through the process, said it was very byzantine, and took a long time, but she said she is not registered in two states,” she said.

To be clear, there’s nothing nefarious about being registered to vote in more than one state. Many people move from one state to another and don’t think to “unregister” their voter registration as they leave a state. I don’t think I ever “unregistered” in New York, but I assume after several election cycles my status was wiped clean there.

I’ll also add that if what Trump is trying to claim is that 3-5 million people, particularly in California and New York, “double registered” in hopes of running up Hillary Clinton’s score,  wouldn’t the geniuses behind such a scheme have done so in vital swing states like Florida or Pennsylvania?

Kellyanne Conway U-Turns – Again – On Trump Taxes

After months of promising on the campaign trail to release his tax returns once an IRS audit is complete, Donald Trump’s White House counselor Kellyanne Conway told George Stephanopoulos, on ABC’s This Week, that Trump will not be releasing his tax returns.

Hold on, now, because you might get whiplash: Conway tweeted this morning that the White House is back to their original position, promising to release the tax returns after the “audit.”

Imagine the discussions taking place behind closed doors.

There are currently over 260K signatures on a White House petition calling for the release of Trump’s tax returns.

White House Advisor: President Trump Is “Not Going To Release His Tax Returns”

Although Donald Trump promised repeatedly throughout the presidential campaign that he would release his tax returns once an audit by the IRS was completed, today White House counselor Kellyanne Conway announced that the new president is “not going to release his tax returns.

During an appearance on ABC’s This Week, host George Stephanopoulos brought up the White House petition posted on Friday demanding Trump’s tax returns be released.

Conway responded thusly:

“The White House response is that he’s not going to release his tax returns. We litigated this all through the election. People didn’t care, they voted for him.”

There are currently over 200,000 signatures on the White House petition.

Trump has recently brushed aside the issue of his tax returns saying that people “don’t care” about his tax returns.

It would appear more than 200,000 Americans do.

You have to imagine that whatever is in those tax returns must be extremely damning to justify a u-turn on releasing the info in those returns.

Kellyanne Conway: Sean Spicer’s Version Of Inauguration Numbers Are “Alternative Facts”

Responding to a question from Meet The Press host Chuck Todd about why Trump asked his press secretary to “utter a falsehood” during his very first news conference, presidential advisor Kellyanne Conway created a phrase I expect we’ll be hearing a lot of over the next four years.

Todd: “It undermines the credibility of the entire White House press office on day one.”

Conway: “Don’t be so overly dramatic about it, Chuck. You’re saying it’s a falsehood. Sean Spicer, our press secretary, gave alternative facts to that.”

Todd: “Alternative facts are not facts. They’re falsehoods.”

Saturday Night Live dove deep into the psyche of President Trump adviser “Kellyanne Conway” (Kate McKinnon) last night, imagining the former pollster reveling in her rise in the political world.
