The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports the U.S. economy added a healthy 206,000 new jobs in June marking the 42nd consecutive month of job growth. Economists had expected to see that number closer to 190K.

The U.S. economy added 272,000 jobs in May 2024

The latest jobs report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics shows hiring was stronger than expected in May with 272,000 new jobs added to the U.S. economy led by strong hiring in health care, government, and leisure and hospitality. 303K Jobs Added To U.S. Economy In March 2024

The Labor Department reports 303,000 new jobs were added to the U.S. economy last month – a much larger gain than experts had forecast.
