AP News: Pop star Britney Spears was arrested last night for on DUI charges. after the California Highway Patrol stopped her around 9 p.m. for driving fast and erratically. Her spokesperson acknowledges it was “inexcusable” adding that  Britney will get the “long overdue” help she needs.

NPR: A January 6 rioter pardoned by Donald Trump, has been sentenced to life in prison for child sex abuse after a Florida jury found him guilty of 5 criminal charges, including molestation, lewd and lascivious exhibition and transmission of material harmful to a minor.
