• The Advocate: Former DOGE staffer Nathan Cavanuagh (above) says ChatGPT helped him and co-workers cancel grants mentioning ‘LGBTQ+.’ Cavanaugh admitted to having no experience in scholarly peer review and his decisions to cancel NEH grants were based on his personal judgement.
• PEOPLE: Chaz Bono married his longtime partner, Shara Blue Mathes, on March 8 in Los Angeles. His Oscar-winning mother, Cher, attended the “Hollywood Glam Formal” celebration.

• Newsweek: A round-up of the nine states where lawmakers have introduced measures asking the Supreme Court to overturn its ruling in Obergefell v. Hodges (which granted same-sex couples nationwide the right to marry) or codify “marriage” as being between a man and a woman.
• LGBTQ Nation: Former talk show host Kathie Lee Gifford said in a recent interview she loves the gays but there’s too many letters in that acronym – “I don’t know how many letters there are now. They’ve really gotta stop with that. You know, we know what you mean.” Cued up below.
• Washington Post: Barely a year after being installed to lead the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Trump toadie Richard Grenell is stepping down. His tenure is marked by plummeting ticket sales, numerous artist cancellations, and multiple staff departures.
• Politico: The leaders of Germany, France and Ukraine condemned Donald Trump’s decision to ease restrictions on Russian oil sales. The Donald needs Russian oil to offset price hikes resulting from his war on Iran; his European critics say he’s helping Vladimir Putin fund his war on Ukraine.
