Season 3 of GLEE on it’s way – check out some of the songs!

With the premiere of “Glee’s” third season days away, the time is more than nigh for a little pre-show song leakage. And, right on cue, here are clips of all 5 songs set for the season opener.

As we get back into the action at McKinley High, the Gleeks try their hand at the Go-Gos, Tom Jones and a little number from “The Wizard of Oz,” among others.

Listen below and let us know what you think. Getting excited for season 3?

“We Got the Beat” (The GoGos):

“You Can’t Stop the Beat” (from “Hairspray”):

“It’s Not Unusual” (Tom Jones):

“Ding-Dong! The Witch is Dead” (from “The Wizard of Oz”):

“Anything Goes”/”Anything You Can Do” (from “Anything Goes”/”Annie Get Your Gun”):

The GLEE boys pose as The Village People

The show’s resident bad boy, Mark Salling, dressed up with fellow costars as the Village People and then tweeted the photo.

A motorcycle-cop-clad Salling was joined by Chris Colfer, who suited up as the soldier; Darren Criss, who dared to be the leather daddy with unruly chest hair; Cory Monteith, who rocked the headdress; and Harry Shum, who went country as the cowboy.

Salling tweeted, “The glee bros and I wanted to keep up our chops up over the hiatus so we formed a tribute band.”

Cory Monteith New Face Of ‘Straight But Not Narrow’

It was just announced that Glee star Cory Monteith, will be the new spokesperson for Straight But Not Narrow and will be starring in their latest PSA.

Straight But Not Narrow is a new and different campaign aiming to help support gay youth with a special message to straight males.

From the website: There have been a number of great campaigns and charities that have recently emerged to show support to gay youth & teens. However, we noticed one significant niche missing in the efforts…. the message to the young, straight male. It’s an unfortunate reality that most of the bullying and harassment that gay teens face comes from them. It is for this reason that we are building a campaign that is primarily directed to the young, straight male by using comedy and their peers to positively influence their views on LGBT teens.

So, whether you like girls, you like guys, you like both, you like neither (well, you get the idea)…. what difference does it really make? There’s a whole lot more to a person than who they date. And yeah, we’re all different. But we believe that it’s those differences that make us interesting. Why would we all want to be exactly the same? Where’s the excitement in that?

Just be you. Cause that’s good enough for us.

GLEE Tour opens is Las Vegas

The GLEE Summer Tour opened in Las Vegas to a packed crowd screaming all night.

The League of Extraordinary Dancers opened for the tour.

Check out the video above. The poster of the video apparently has the whole show on their “youtube channel.” Click here to look for a particular song.

The finale was “Loser Like Me” – see that by clicking here: http://youtu.be/9ekTnDdvLGs – which brought the house down (as if the other songs hadn’t already) followed by 5 “encores.”

GLEE’s Matthew Morrison to perform with NKOTB and BSB

It’s official, kiddies (and those old enough to remember NKOTB before facial hair). “Hot Teacher of the Year” is joining the reformed…and we mean re-formed, as in, they have formed again, boy bands, for a summer tour. Info after the jump.

Glee star Matthew Morrison announced yesterday that Hottie-Mc-Hot “Teacher of the Year” (at least as we’ve voted in the Instinct office) will take part in this summer’s super boyband lovefest. Will Schuester will try to reign in the hormones of 30 and 40-something women and gays when he joins New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys when they converge implode for a summer tour.

Our beloved Matty may have less of his own shows (planned around his recently released album) now because of this move, but now Morrison has a larger platform—and may actually meet some straight women—while performing in arenas across the U.S.

GLEE Season Finale – WICKED’s ‘For Good’

Lea Michele & Chris Colfer Sing GLEE Season Finale – WICKED’s ‘For Good’

On the stage of the Gershwin Theater where WICKED plays eight times a week, Rachel and Kurt form a diva mutual-appreciation-society befitting of Elphaba and G(a)linda and share their affection and love for each other as performers – as well as people.

Of special note to Broadway babies: both of the original Broadway witches in WICKED who first sang “For Good” have made memorable appearances on GLEE in the last two seasons, with Idina Menzel essaying the role of Rachel Berry’s mother, Shelby, and Kristin Chenoweth winning over fans with her award-nominated stint as boozy April Rhodes.

Continuing what was begun with Michele and Colfer‘s dueling versions of “Defying Gravity” last season, WICKED’s unforgettable Act One Finale, here is the end of Act Two – “For Good”; as is oh-so befitting of the close of Season Two of GLEE.
