Hillary Leads Trump 10 Points In Latest Fox News Poll

Democrat Hillary Clinton has opened up a 10 point lead in the latest Fox News national poll – 49% to Donald Trump’s 39%.

Now, you know if ANY polling firm would “skew right,” it would be these folks. So that makes this even more impressive.

While Trump leads with the male demographic by 5 points, Hillary is polling strong with

• women by 23 points (57-34 percent)

• blacks by 83 (87-4 percent)

• Hispanics by 48 (68-20 percent)

• voters under 30 by 18 (49-31 percent)

Roger Ailes Out At Fox News

In the aftermath of sexual harassment allegations from multiple employees, Fox News Chairman and CEO has “resigned.”

Rupert Murdoch, Executive Chairman, 21st Century Fox, will take over the duties of Chairman and acting CEO of Fox News.

Murdoch issued a statement saying, “Roger Ailes has made a remarkable contribution to our company and our country. Roger shared my vision of a great and independent television organization and executed it brilliantly over 20 years.”

In addition to the allegations by female employees as high profile as Gretchen Carlson and Megyn Kelly, rumors have been swirling that Murdoch’s sons wanted to see Ailes out.

For 2015, Fox News was the number two channel on cable TV behind only ESPN.

Oh – of course Ailes denies all the sexual harassment allegations. 

Rumors have circulated that Ailes could leave with a $40 million “golden parachute.”

Gretchen Carlson: Can’t We Have 2nd Amendment Rights AND Common Sense Gun Laws?

Gretchen Carlson of FOX News surprised viewers yesterday by expressing her support for banning semi-automatic rifles like the one used to kill 49 people in the Orlando nightclub shooting:

Do we need AR-15s to hunt and kill deer? Do we need them to protect our families? I’m in favor of people being able to carry. Yes, I think some of these mass shooting would have been less deadly if that were the case.

But I’m also with the majority today, taking a stand. Can’t we hold true the sanctity of the Second Amendment while still having common sense?

Greta Van Susteren: Put Harriet Tubman On The $25 Bill

Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren closed her show last night with an off-pitch rant regarding the news that ‘Underground Railroad’ hero, Harriet Tubman, will be replacing slave-owner President Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill.

Van Susteren said the Obama administration “went stupid” and was dividing the country with a “completely unnecessary fight,” closing with this:

“Give Tubman her own bill. Like a $25 bill. We could use a $25 bill. Put her picture on that and we could all celebrate. That’s the smart and easy thing to do. But no, some people don’t think and would gratuitously stir up conflict in the nation. That is so awful, and yes, dumb.”

Fox News’ Megyn Kelly Has Private Meeting With Donald Trump

Fox News’ Megyn Kelly, after months of attacks by Donald Trump, privately met with the Trumpster at his Fifth Avenue Trump Towers yesterday in an attempt to “clear the air” between the two, and discus a possible interview on her evening broadcast.

Via Politico:

Kelly said the meeting was held at her request and was an effort to clear the air between herself and Trump. Trump has publicly attacked Kelly on a number of occasions, ever since she grilled him on his past comments about women at the first Republican primary debate last year.

“We met for about an hour, just the two of us, and had a chance to clear the air,” Kelly said. “Mr. Trump and I discussed the possibility of an interview. And I hope we will have news to announce on that soon.”

Kelly has largely tried to stay above the fray, though she acknowledged at Tina Brown’s Women in the World conference last week that Trump’s attacks on her have been “unprecedented for a presidential candidate.”

Fox News Poll: Hillary Clinton Leading Bernie Sanders In New York

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton leads Sen. Bernie Sanders in New York state according to the latest Fox News Poll – 53%-37%.

The poll results also show in a hypothetical match-up, Clinton would win New York in the general election against Donald Trump by that same margin – 53%-37%.

Fox News Calls Donald Trump Out For “Vitriolic Attacks” On Megyn Kelly

After months of Donald Trump’s ugly attacks on Fox News’ Megyn Kelly, her network has decided ‘enough is enough.’

Fox News issued a statement today calling out Trump’s “sick obsession” and “vitriolic attacks” on Kelly.

Considering Fox News is the leading conservative news source for most Americans, this should make for an interesting election cycle.

Donald Trump Will Not Attend Fox News Republican Debate

GOP front-runner Donald Trump surprised the folks over at Fox News this morning during a call-in interview where he informed the Fox & Friends hosts he will not be attending the upcoming Fox News Republican debate.

From Mediaite:

“Nobody told me about the debate,” said Trump during his phone interview, revealing that a longstanding commitment — a speech to what he estimates is “eight or nine thousand people” on the night of March 21 — is preventing him from attending.

The trio of Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt, and Brian Kilmeade tried to negotiate with the master negotiator a bit, with Earhardt offering, “The voters love them though!”

“No, you know who loves them? The networks,” clarified Trump. “Haven’t we had enough?” he asked at one point.

The debate, announced this past Monday, is set to take place in Salt Lake City on March 21st.

Donald Trump Repeats His Promise to Change Libel Laws

Donald Trump, who has received more free uninterrupted airtime by the networks of his rallies, says the cable news outlets are unfair to him. According to the Trumpster, there is media “hatred” of him.

That’s why they give him all that free airtime, don’t you know?

And the newspapers who criticize him are grossly unfair.

And as president he would “change” libel laws so he could sue. And win. Apparently he finds it quite unfair that he has to actually prove something is untrue before he can win.
