Fox News Accidentally Calls New Hampshire For Donald Trump

Fox News accidentally jumped the gun with a ready-made graphic showing Donald Trump winning the New Hampshire primary – at noon with the polls still open. Click the image above to enlarge.

It seems Fox was looking to predict a Trump win with 28%, followed by Sen. Marco Rubio at 12% and Sen. Ted Cruz at 11%.

Fox News issued this “oopsie” after the graphic was taken down:

“During routine testing in preparation for the New Hampshire primary a malfunction occurred which briefly showed errant data on our website,” Fox News Chief Digital Officer Jeff Misenti said in a statement. “This error has been rectified. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.”

Fox News’ Megyn Kelly Inks $10 Million Book Deal After “Trump Wars”

It clearly pays well to battle with Donald Trump as evidenced by Fox News’ host Megyn Kelly newly announced $10 million book deal.

Deadline reports the host of Fox News’ “The Kelly File” will pen what many expect to be a memoir for Gallery Books. The tome is expected for release this fall.

I’m waiting for The Trumpster to tweet out a “You’re welcome” any time now.

Donald Trump Pulls Out Of FOX News GOP Debate

After some very entertaining comments thrown back and forth between Fox News and Donald Trump, the Trumpster has issued a statement saying he will definitely boycott Thursday night’s GOP debate hosted by Fox News.

The statement reads, in part, “Unlike the very stupid, highly incompetent people running our country into the ground, Mr. Trump knows when to walk away.”

The brouhaha centers around Trump’s objection to Megyn Kelly taking part in the debate as one of the moderators. Trump maintains that he is not being treated “fairly.”

Trump recently told CNN he was considering skipping the debate because he felt Kelly was biased against him.

If I think I’m going to be treated unfairly, I’d do something else. But I don’t think she can treat me fairly, actually. I think she’s very biased. And I don’t think she can treat me fairly. But that doesn’t mean I don’t do the debates. I like doing the debate. I’ve won every single debate, according to every poll.

Fox News issued a statement saying, “Sooner or later Donald Trump, even if he’s president, is going to have to learn that he doesn’t get to pick the journalists — we’re very surprised he’s willing to show that much fear about being questioned by Megyn Kelly.”

Last night, after Trump posted a Twitter poll asking whether he should or should not attend the debate (respondents were evenly split), Fox News served this dose of snark via Mediaite:

We learned from a secret back channel that the Ayatollah and Putin both intend to treat Donald Trump unfairly when they meet with him if he becomes president — a nefarious source tells us that Trump has his own secret plan to replace the Cabinet with his Twitter followers to see if he should even go to those meetings.

Fox News Analyst Calls President Obama “A Total Pussy” On Live TV

Fox News analyst Lt. Col. Ralph Peters, ever the classy guy, summed up his opinion of President Obama’s speech to the nation last night by telling Fox News’ Stuart Varney that the President of the United States is “a total pussy.”

On live TV.

“Look, Mr. President! We’re not afraid, we’re angry! We’re pissed off, we’re furious! We want you to react! We want you to do something! You’re afraid!” Peters said, raising his voice when asked for his reactions during Obama’s primetime speech.

“This guy is such a total pussy, it’s stunning,” Peters continued.

Once he had finished, Varney said he knows Peters is “super angry” but chastised him for using the sexual slur.

“I can tell you are super angry, and I asked you for your reaction, but you can’t use language like that on the program,” he told the guest.

Peters then criticized the President for focusing on gun control in the wake of the shooting rampage in San Bernardino, California, saying while the Founding Fathers did not intend for “every drunk [sic] psycho to have a machine gun collection,” Obama shouldn’t prevent law-abiding citizens from owning guns.

“Law abiding Americans owning guns is not the problem here, the problem is Islamist terrorism, and the the President will not even say Islamist terrorism,” he said.

Varney again cut in to scold Peters for his language.

“You used some very strong language there about the President of the United States. I’m the anchor of ‘Varney & Co.’ and I have to ask you to either apologize for that or take it back,” the host said.

Peters responded “I apologize” without missing a beat.

Donald Trump Would Eliminate Dept Of Education and Environmental Protections

Appearing on Fox News’ “Fox News Sunday,” Donald Trump goes over a litany of controversial things he’s said on the campaign trail: eliminating the Department of Education, eliminating environmental protections, putting the responsibility of 9/11 on George W. Bush and more.

Wallace: “Would you cut services? Would you cut departments?”

Trump: “No, I’m not cutting services, but I’m cutting spending. But I may cut Department of Education. I believe Common Core is a very bad thing. I believe that we should be — you know, educating our children from Iowa, from New Hampshire, from South Carolina, from California, from New York. I think that it should be local education. So the Department of Education is one. Environmental Protection, what they do is a disgrace. Every week they come out with new regulations. They’re making it impossible —”

Wallace: “Who’s going to protect the environment?”

Trump: “We’ll be fine with the environment. We can leave a little bit, but you can’t destroy businesses.”

Fox News: We Canceled Trump Before He Boycotted Us

After Donald Trump announced via Twitter that he would not be appearing on the Fox News network because they were being very “unfair” with him, Fox News issued their own statement saying they canceled his appearance on tonight’s The O’Reilly Factor before he tweeted his boycott:

“At 11:45am today, we canceled Donald Trump’s scheduled appearance on The O’Reilly Factor on Thursday, which resulted in Mr. Trump’s subsequent tweet about his ‘boycott’ of FOX News. The press predictably jumped to cover his tweet, creating yet another distraction from any real issues that Mr. Trump might be questioned about. When coverage doesn’t go his way, he engages in personal attacks on our anchors and hosts, which has grown stale and tiresome. He doesn’t seem to grasp that candidates telling journalists what to ask is not how the media works in this country.”

President Obama Blasts Fox News For Distorting Support For Police

Speaking to the Congressional Black Caucus this past Saturday night, President Obama made a point to call Fox News out for repeatedly distorting his support for police officers.

For a long time now, Fox News has portrayed Obama as unsupportive and divisive when it comes to police officers and the communities they serve.

From the transcript:

“I want to repeat – because somehow this never shows up on Fox News. I want to repeat – because I’ve said it a lot, unwaveringly, all the time: Our law enforcement officers do outstanding work in an incredibly difficult and dangerous job. They put their lives on the line for our safety. We appreciate them and we love them. That’s why my Task Force on 21st Century Policing made a set of recommendations that I want to see implemented to improve their safety, as well as to make sure that our criminal justice system is being applied fairly. Officers show uncommon bravery in our communities every single day. They deserve our respect. […]

“So I just want to repeat, because somehow this never gets on the TV: There is no contradiction between us caring about our law enforcement officers and also making sure that our laws are applied fairly. Do not make this as an either/or proposition. This is a both/and proposition. We want to protect our police officers. We’ll do a better job doing it if our communities can feel confident that they are being treated fairly. I hope I’m making that clear. I hope I’m making that clear.”

Donald Trump Goes Off On Fox News – AGAIN

White House wanna-be Donald Trump took to Twitter to complain about what he felt was unfair treatment on that liberal bastion of political news, The O’Reilly Factor.

Bill O’Reilly, appearing on The Today Show this morning told Matt Lauer, “I’ve known Trump a long time. He wants people to like him. When people criticize him, he takes it personally.”

“That’s like the worst thing you can give Donald Trump is this tweeting thing,” he said. “I just think this is an extension of his reality show, The Apprentice. This is just theater right now.”
