Rosie O’Donnell On Donald & Ivanka: “I Think He’s Been Doing Bad Things With Her”

During an interview segment with SiriusXM host Michelangelo Signorile, Rosie O’Donnell shared her thoughts on Donald Trump’s relationship with his daughter Ivanka, as well as Ivanka’s ‘public service’ working in the White House and a possible future run for president.

“I don’t know what he’s doing with her,” said O’Donnell “I think he’s been doing bad things with her for a very long time. There’s a creepy incest feel that is a very prevalent amongst Donald Trump and his children, at least his daughter. Very creepy. I don’t know.”

“I think she’s like, you know, a talentless, non-intelligent, non-powerful woman. And, I think she’s…it’s laughable to think of her in any kind of public service role. No one in his family has ever been in public service. Why should they start now?”

Rosie doesn’t cite any particular instance between Trump and his daughter, although many in the public square have noted various statements by the Donald about his daughter that seemed to step into queasy territory.

A new book, titled "American Carnage" by Tim Alberta, offers even more insight into why Republicans who once loathed Donald Trump made their deal with the devil to get what they want. A new book, titled “American Carnage” by Tim Alberta, offers even more insight into why Republicans who once loathed Donald Trump made their deal with the devil to get what they want.

One passage quotes former Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, who says he saw retirement from politics as an “escape hatch.”

Now out of office and trading in his power suits for a blue vest, Ryan is back to critiquing Trump in unflattering terms in conversations with Alberta, who writes the former speaker could not stand the idea of another two years with the president and saw retirement as the “escape hatch.”

“We’ve gotten so numbed by it all,” Ryan says. “Not in government, but where we live our lives, we have a responsibility to try and rebuild. Don’t call a woman a ‘horse face.’ Don’t cheat on your wife. Don’t cheat on anything. Be a good person. Set a good example.”

“I told myself I gotta have a relationship with this guy to help him get his mind right,” Ryan recalls. “Because, I’m telling you, he didn’t know anything about government . . . I wanted to scold him all the time.”

In Alberta’s telling, Trump offers perks to gain support, threatens foes with the wrath of his supporters and makes cold, narcissistic calculations to keep power.

“Those f—ing evangelicals,” Trump says in a meeting with GOP lawmakers, according to the book, smiling and shaking his head. In Trump’s mind, Alberta writes, he would “give them the policies and the access to authority that they longed for. In return they would stand behind him unwaveringly.”

Donald Trump, who has often called for boycotting any company or organization that he feels has slighted him, complained today about the ‘Radical Left’ withholding consumer dollars to “hurt their ‘Enemy.'”

According to the Washington Post, the Trumpster was apparently riled up as some consumers were turned off by the news that Home Depot co-founder, Bernie Marcus, donated more than $7 million to Trump’s 2016 campaign and has announced he will continue his sponsorship of Trump in 2020.

Trump has called for boycotts against various companies over the years including Macy’s, CNN, Univision, Harley Davidson, Starbucks, Apple and many more.

President Trump’s overhauled July Fourth celebration cost the D.C. government $1.7 million, an amount that — combined with police expenses for demonstrations through the weekend — has bankrupted a special fund used to protect the nation’s capital from terrorist threats and provide security at events such as rallies and state funerals.

In a letter to the president Tuesday, D.C. Mayor Muriel E. Bowser (D) warned that the fund has now been depleted and is estimated to be running a $6 million deficit by Sept. 30. The mayor also noted that the account was never reimbursed for $7.3 million in expenses from Trump’s 2017 inauguration.

“We ask for your help with ensuring the residents of the District of Columbia are not asked to cover millions of dollars of federal expenses and are able to maintain our high standards of protection for federal events,” she wrote.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Taking a moment, she looked directly into the camera and said: “Your message is excluding people. You’re excluding me, you’re excluding people who look like me, you’re excluding people of color, you’re maybe excluding Americans that may support you. I think that we need to have a reckoning about the message that you have, and what you’re saying about ‘Make America Great Again.’

1. World champion soccer player Megan Rapinoe, in an interview with EightbyEight magazine last month, was asked if she’d attend a ceremony at the White House if the team were to win the World Cup.

“I’m not going to the f​—ing White House,” ​she said in the interview. “We’re not gonna be invited​. ​I doubt it.​”​

2. Donald Trump promptly blasted Rapinoe on (where else?) Twitter:

“Megan should WIN first before she TALKS!”

3. And then… 🙂

4. Trump then changed course regarding an invite to the team telling Voice of America, “We haven’t really thought about it.” (Scroll up to remember how he wrote “I am now inviting the TEAM.” #liar

And when asked if the women deserve to make the same money as their male counterparts, the Donald dodged.

Billionaire Jeffrey Epstein Arrested On Sex Trafficking Charges

Billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein was arrested for allegedly sex trafficking dozens of minors in New York and Florida between 2002 and 2005, and will appear in court in New York on Monday, according to three law enforcement sources.

Billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein was arrested for allegedly sex trafficking dozens of minors in New York and Florida between 2002 and 2005, and will appear in court in New York on Monday, according to three law enforcement sources.

Saturday’s arrest by the FBI-NYPD Crimes Against Children Task Force comes about 12 years after the 66-year-old financier essentially got a slap on the wrist for allegedly molesting dozens of underage girls in Florida.

The new indictment — which, according to two sources, will be unsealed Monday in Manhattan federal court — will reportedly allege that Epstein sexually exploited dozens of underage girls in a now-familiar scheme: paying them cash for “massages” and then molesting or sexually abusing them in his Upper East Side mansion or his palatial residence in Palm Beach.

Epstein will be charged with one count of sex trafficking of minors and one count of conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking of minors—which could put him away for a maximum of 45 years.

Several sources are pointing to Labor Secretary Alex Acosta, who as a U.S. attorney in Miami cut a deal to keep Epstein out of jail and seal all evidence against him.

The FBI had prepared a 53-page sex crimes indictment for Epstein in 2007 that could have sent him to prison for life, according to the Herald.

Instead, he cut a deal with Alexander Acosta, then the US attorney in Miami, which allowed him to serve just 13 months — not in federal or state prison, but in a private wing of a Palm Beach county jail.

He was granted work release to go to a “comfortable office” for 12 hours a day, six days a week, despite the fact that the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Department prohibited work release for sex offenders.

New Poll Shows Only Biden With Decisive Margin Beating Trump

Even though most Americans don’t approve of Donald Trump’s performance in most areas (except the economy) and see him as ‘unpresidential,’ new polling by a Washington Post/ABC News shows Trump does have a path to a second term thanks to a healthy economy.

The recent survey found Trump at his highest approval rating in the poll since he took office at 44 percent, with 53 percent disapproving.

The economy is the one topic where Trump edges out positive territory approval with 51 percent approving of his handling of the economy, with 42 percent disapproving.

According to the Washington Post, when asked how much credit Trump deserves for the state of the economy, 47 percent say a “great deal” or a “good amount,” while 48 percent say he deserves “only some” or “hardly any.”

A lopsided 65 percent feel Trump is “unpresidential” while only 28 percent say he is “fitting and proper.”

The recent poll asked respondents about head-to-head matchups between Trump and five possible Democratic nominees: former Vice President Joe Biden, Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Kamala D. Harris (D-Calif.), Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg.

Biden had the only decisive margin with the former Vice President beating Trump 53 percent to 43 percent, respectively.

Sen. Harris edged Trump by 2 points, 48 percent to Trump’s 46 percent.

Sen. Sanders barely beat Trump by one point, 49 percent/48 percent, Warren tied Trump at 48 percent, and Buttigieg tied the Trumpster at 47 percent.

There is still a big gender divide among voters with men favoring Trump over four of the Democrats (it’s pretty much a tie between Trump and Biden), and women choosing all five Dems over the president.

I know some folks don’t see how Trump could be re-elected – this is how.

Trump On Airport Gaffe: “The Teleprompter Went Kaput”

Earlier today, I reported on Donald Trump’s embarrassing gaffe during his July 4th speech where he referenced the Continental Army taking over “the airports” during the Revolutionary War.

Here’s the quote from his speech:

“The Continental Army suffered a bitter winner at Valley Forge, found glory across the waters of the Delaware and seized victory from Cornwallis of Yorktown. Our Army manned the air, it rammed the ramparts, it took over the airports, it did everything it had to do.”

This afternoon, Trump explained the mistake saying the teleprompter “went kaput” so he kept going on his own explaining he “knew the speech very well.”

“I guess the rain knocked out the teleprompter,” he added. “It was actually hard to look at anyway, ’cause it was rain all over.”

So, the Donald is basically explaining that, without a teleprompter, he can’t help but say stupid things?

He says he knew the speech very well – so, does that mean the ‘airport’ comment was in the original text of the speech?

Remember when the Donald chided President Obama and Hillary Clinton for using teleprompters?

During Donald Trump’s water-logged Independence Day speech, he referenced the war of 1812 as he spoke of our army “ramming the ramparts” and “taking over the airports.”

“In June of 1775, the Continental Congress created a unified Army out of the Revolutionary Forces encamped around Boston and New York, and named after the great George Washington, commander in chief.”

“The Continental Army suffered a bitter winter of Valley Forge, found glory across the waters of the Delaware and seized victory from Cornwallis of Yorktown.”

“Our Army manned the air, it rammed the ramparts, it took over the airports, it did everything it had to do, and at Fort McHendry (Trump’s word), under the rocket’s red glare it had nothing but victory.”

“And when dawn came, their star-spangled banner waved defiant.”

Clearly, Cadet Bone Spurs is confused about the date of that first flight at Kitty Hawk.

And the battle of Fort McHenry occurred during the War of 1812, not the Revolutionary War, but, hey…
