Cadet Bone Spurs Mocks Lt. Col. Vindman For Wearing His Uniform Today

While Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman was testifying before the House committee handling the ongoing impeachment inquiry, Donald Trump had the bad taste to question Vindman’s attire. From ABC News:

Down Pennsylvania Avenue from the hearing at the Capitol, President Trump, speaking to reporters at the White House, struck a dismissive tone when asked whether he thinks Lt. Col. Vindman is a credible witness, making note of the moment when Vindman corrected Nunes for referring to him as “Mr. Vidman” and also seemed to question his motives in wearing a military uniform to testify.

“I don’t know him, as he says Lieutenant Colonel, I understand someone had the misfortune of calling him ‘mister’ and he corrected them. I never saw the man, I understand now he wears his uniform when he goes in. No, I don’t know Vindman at all,” Trump said during a Cabinet meeting, ABC’s Jordyn Phelps reports.

It appears Cadet Bone Spurs – our Commander in Chief – is unaware that per Army regulations, “A soldier performing duties in an official capacity will normally be in uniform.”

Louisiana: Dem Governor Wins 2nd Term Over GOP Trump Ally

Despite three visits by Donald Trump to Louisiana to try and flip the governorship to the Republican column, Democratic Gov. John Bel Edwards won a second term Saturday to remain the only Democratic governor in the Deep South. Edwards narrowly beat wealthy businessman and Trump ally Eddie Rispone, who invested more than $14 million of his own money to finance his campaign. “I need you to send a message to the corrupt Democrats in Washington,” Trump told a crowd at a rally in Bossier City on Thursday. “You’ve got to give me a big win, OK?” Trump implored. The Republican National Committee invested $2 million and 60 staffers on the ground in hopes of flipping the seat red. Yesterday, Trump tweeted “Louisiana, 3 hours left, get out and Vote for @EddieRispone for Governor. Lower taxes and much more!” After the news that Rispone had lost the race, and not wanting to be associated with failure, Trump has now deleted the tweet. Trump also recently campaigned for GOP Governor Matt Bevin in Kentucky which resulted in the Democrat, Andy Beshear, winning the race. There will now be two Democratic governors in deep-red South.

CNN Host Explains Ukraine President’s Planned, Then Cancelled, Interview

Apparently, the announcement of an investigation into former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden, by the Ukraine government that Donald Trump sought in exchange for previously promised military aid was to have taken place on Fareed Zakaria’s CNN show, although at the time CNN didn’t know the full backstory. Zakaria told his viewers today he felt he owed them an understanding of what he and his team did and didn’t know as they sought the interview with President Zelensky. It makes sense that Trump’s White House would WANT the announcement on CNN because Democrats watch CNN. Trump wanted as many possible Dem voters to see/hear the allegations to taint support of Biden. It’s worth noting, again, that journalists from across the political spectrum – even Fox News – have repeatedly said there is no evidence of any wrongdoing by Joe or Hunter Biden. Trump just wanted his 2020 version of ‘her emails’ to discourage Democratic voters. Watch below.

The Donald Threatens Impeachment Could Lead To Depression

Donald Trump took to Twitter today to threaten Americans that impeaching him “would lead to the biggest FALL” in stock market history. Not just a recession, but a depression. Mind you, the stock market tripled during President Obama’s 8 years in office, so, there’s that. And even as the impeachment inquiry continues, the market continues on its way. Wall Street sees whats happening and seems fine with the possibility of impeachment.

Former Ukraine Ambassador Testifies In Impeachment Inquiry

The former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine who was abruptly removed by President Donald Trump earlier this year took center stage on Friday morning to testify in the second public hearing in his impeachment inquiry.

Ambassador Marie “Masha” Yovanovitch, 61, was ousted in May after what her former colleagues describe as a “smear campaign” by Trump’s allies, led by his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani. In a July 25th call with his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, which sparked the initial whistleblower complaint, Trump described her as “bad news” and someone who was “going through some stuff.”

“I didn’t know what it meant,” Yovanovitch told lawmakers in a closed-door hearing last month in regards to those comments. “I was very concerned. I still am.”

Other diplomats have testified that Yovanovitch, who was known as an outspoken critic of corruption in Ukraine, was unfairly removed after a sustained lobbying campaign from Giuliani and others.

Donald Trump gives passing mention of LGBTQ rights during his 2019 address of the United Nations   Donald Trump, who claims to be ‘the most transparent president in history,’ has asked the Supreme Court to prohibit his accounting firm from turning over eight years of his tax returns to Manhattan prosecutors per an appeals court ruling last week. What is it he’s hiding???

From the New York Times:

President Trump asked the Supreme Court on Thursday to bar his accounting firm from turning over eight years of his tax returns to Manhattan prosecutors.

The case, the first concerning Mr. Trump’s personal conduct and business dealings to reach the court, could yield a major ruling on the scope of presidential immunity from criminal investigations.

Last week, a unanimous three-judge panel of a federal appeals court in Manhattan ruled against Mr. Trump, rejecting his argument that he was absolutely immune from criminal investigation while he remains in office. The court, in a focused ruling, said state prosecutors may require third parties to turn over a sitting president’s financial records for use in a grand jury investigation.

Prosecutors have reportedly agreed not to pursue the Donald’s tax returns until SCOTUS either agrees to take the case or not. The case could result in a major ruling on the scope of presidential immunity from criminal investigations.

If Trump Shot Someone Would You Vote For Him: “Why Did He Shoot Him?”

Donald Trump supporter Crystal Alisyn Camerota, from CNN’s New Day, chatted with a panel of Pennsylvania voters from swing districts about how Donald Trump is handling the presidency and got some rather stunning responses. Some called Trump’s time in the Oval Office “embarrassing” while others declared he is “fantabulous!” A woman named Crystal, who is still clearly pro-Trump, was asked: “Crystal, is there anything he could do that would make you not vote for him?” Crystal replied “No.” Bringing up the now infamous hypothetical scenario stated by Trump during the 2016 election, Camerota queried, “If he shot someone on 5th avenue, would you vote for him?” Crystal responded asking with a skeptical tone, “Yeah, why did he shoot him?” The Trump voters were also asked about whether pressuring foreign countries to investigate political opponents was appropriate and the ongoing impeachment inquiry.

• Fox News: A new poll from Fox News shows former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton beating Donald Trump in a hypothetical 2020 head-to-head matchup – and she’s not even running. • OUT: A daycare center in Switzerland has come under fire for turning away a pair of twin boys because they have gay parents. The family was informed the boys would not be welcome in the playgroup because their parents’ relationship is “neither normal nor natural.” • Campaign Ad: Mayor Pete Buttigieg, currently landing in 3rd place in Iowa polls, has a new campaign spot out in Iowa that highlights national unity. Titled “Sun Comes Up,” the ad asks voters to imagine the first day when Trump is no longer president, as Buttigieg promises to pick up the pieces of our divided nation.
