• Gayety: Pedro Pascal is reportedly in negotiations to step into the lead role in Todd Haynes’ highly anticipated gay romance, De Noche, filling the void left by Joaquin Phoenix’s abrupt departure in August 2024 just days before filming was slated to begin.

• The Advocate: I highly recommend this interview with Dr. Demetre Daskalakis, who resigned from the CDC this week over Health Sec. Kennedy’s and Trump’s dismantling of vaccine policy. Last week, Cody Connor  – a Virginia Beach dad who has a trans daughter – stepped up armed with some facts as he addressed a Virginia Beach school board that voted to uphold a suspension on DEI policies.

“Rather than embrace the future, you desperately hold onto echoes of the past… the future is coming and it doesn’t look much like you.”

Mentions of the Enola Gay (the B-29 bomber that dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima) and the pioneering women who completed Marine infantry training are among thousands of online posts slated for removal as the Defense Department seeks to eliminate content related to DEI.
