Congrats to Cheyenne Jackson and Jason Landau, who got married Saturday night in Encino, California.
In front of a crowd of 200 guests, including Jane Lynch, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Leah Remini, Alicia Silverstone, and Rebecca Romijn, the two men (who have been together just under a year) said “I do.”
Cheyenne posted the pic below on his Instagram with the caption: “M A R R I E D. Life is beautiful.”

New year, new CD, new opportunities! As one year ends and another begins, Cheyenne shares where the past year has taken him and what’s ahead with E!News:
“This past year, there has been a lot of change in my life,” Jackson says. “Both grandparents died, a Broadway show [The Performers] that I put my heart and soul into closed after six shows, and some deeply personal things transpired as well.
“But on the flip side, my career took off,” the Broadway favorite continued. “I shot four movies, a pilot, a miniseries, sold out the Kennedy Center with my one-man show and just really grew exponentially as an artist. I craved a song to reflect that and the fact and realization that I’m opening myself up to whatever the universe has to throw at me. I can take it. It’s about being brave, being alive, and being right here, right now.”
And being able to put up with some pain. He shot the video while filming Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks with Gena Rowlands in Budapest.
“My feet were bleeding by the time we walked miles and miles to get those shots,” Jackson says of the video, directed by Hungarian filmmaker Peter Tokay. “But it was absolutely worth it.”
Jackson most recently starred as Tony in West Side Story in Concert with the San Francisco Symphony and Michael Tilson Thomas, a recording of which will be released next year. The openly gay Washington state native also served as grand marshal in San Fran’s annual gay pride parade on June 30.

The video may be a bit deep for me, but Cheyenne’s performance and vocals are great.
The track is from his upcoming CD “I’m Blue, Skies” which will be released June 25th.

Ok, so if you somehow were not a fan of Mr. Jackson YET, you should be after this.
I’ve met Cheyenne, and he’s just as down to earth and comfortable with folks as you would imagine.
Great song, terrific voice (love the edge to his tone), authentic and completely devoid of pretense, Cheyenne shares a great Elton John/Bernie Taupin classic.
Serious bonus points for the canine cameo at 2:18.

NEW YORK, NY – MARCH 24: Celebrities and supporters stopped by the Ketel One Vodka “Walk of Change” at the GLAAD Media Awards to make their mark – literally.
For each celebrity handprint left, Ketel One donated $1,000 to GLAAD. Participants included Bernadette Peters, Cheyenne Jackson, Jay Manuel and Thomas Roberts.
When leaving his hand print on the Ketel One Walk of Fame, Cheyenne Jackson brought attention to his new wedding ring saying, “Look at my wedding ring!! This is so weird!”
Smash star, Phillip Spaeth, wasn’t shy about getting his hands dirty for a good cause when leaving his handprint on the Ketel One Walk of Change.
Broadway superstar Bernadette Peters flexed her stardom as she playful posed for the camera and even stated, “Am I making a muscle?” as she left her handprint.

Cheyenne Jackson’s Cocktail Hour: Music of The Mad Men Era

The Mad Men era of the 1950s and ’60s introduced a new type of culture in America that combined social decadence with suave sophistication. For those special nights out on the town, elegance was the mode, with ladies in beautiful gowns and gentlemen in tuxedos. Of course, a martini and the occasional cigarette were popular accessories to complete the “look.”

Jackson will sing songs from the 50s and 60s for a one-night-only concert next month with The New York Pops orchestra at Carnegie Hall.
According to a press release, the show “will take audiences back to the ‘Mad Men’ era, when bossa nova was new and dance music was smooth and hip.”
The Nov. 18 concert will include Jackson crooning such songs as “Feeling Good,” ”Luck Be a Lady” and “Sway.” Steven Reineke, who is the musical director, also promises some contemporary songs that are a throwback to that time.
Jackson has appeared on Broadway in “Finian’s Rainbow,” ”Xanadu,” ”Thoroughly Modern Millie,” ”On the Twentieth Century” and “Aida.”
For everyone with a crush on Cheyenne Jackson out there, I’ve got sad news: you’re too late. Jackson, of Glee, has married his long-time partner Monte Lapka (a physicist) in New York, announcing today on his Twitter: “It’s official, after 11 years together, Zora’s no longer a bastard. Married the best man I’ve ever known.”
(Zora is their dog, by the way.)
