• Wired: Apple has removed two of the most popular gay dating apps in China – Finka and Blued – from the App Store after receiving an order from China’s main internet regulator and censorship authority.
• Broadway World: Tony/Emmy Award winner Kristin Chenoweth has returned to Broadway in The Queen of Versailles, now at the St. James Theatre. The new musical also stars Oscar winner F. Murray Abraham and is directed by Tony winner Michael Arden with music and lyrics by Oscar winner Stephen Schwartz. BW has a round-up of the reviews which were very mixed.
• LGBTQ Nation: Four people are dead and more than a dozen injured after a car crashed into the outdoor seating area in front of an LGBTQ nightclub in Tampa, Florida during last Saturday’s early morning hours. • LGBTQ Nation: Lufthansa Airlines will face a lawsuit brought by a gay couple that has accused an employee of outing them to the government of Saudi Arabia, where homosexuality is outlawed.
A staffer for Lufthansa at Riyadh’s airport allegedly harassed the couple over their relationship status, refusing to believe they were married and loudly demeaning them.

• BroadwayWorld: Broadway’s Cabaret revival will close a month earlier than previously announced. Additionally, the show’s current “Emcee” – Tony winner Billy Porter (above) – will not appear in the remainder of the run due to a case of sepsis.

• Playbill: Tony-winning stage (Nine) and screen (30 Rock) star Jane Krakowski will take over the title role in Broadway’s Oh, Mary! for an eight-week engagement. The show earned two 2025 Tony Awards: Lead Actor in a Play and Director of a Play.
• them: The state of Florida is now arresting people (4 so far) for using rainbow chalk on crosswalks. One man who walked across the Pulse memorial crosswalk with colored chalk on his shoes was charged with “defacing a traffic device,” but a judge ordered his release.
