• Broadway World: A new production of the beloved musical The Fantasticks, reimagined as a contemporary gay love story, is now in development for Broadway under the direction and choreography of my longtime friend and Tony Award winner Christopher Gattelli.
• New York Times: The victim of today’s ICE shooting in Minneapolis has been identified as Renee Nicole Good, remembered as a compassionate, giving person. A video circulating on X appears to show her distraught partner sitting in the snow in Minneapolis sobbing, “They killed my wife. The new Broadway musical The Queen of Versailles starring Kristin Chenoweth has announced it will end its run at the St. James Theatre on January 4.

• PEOPLE: Country superstar Dolly Parton accepted the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in a video message on Sunday Nov. 16 at the 2025 Governors Awards.

• Wired: Apple has removed two of the most popular gay dating apps in China – Finka and Blued – from the App Store after receiving an order from China’s main internet regulator and censorship authority.
• Broadway World: Tony/Emmy Award winner Kristin Chenoweth has returned to Broadway in The Queen of Versailles, now at the St. James Theatre. The new musical also stars Oscar winner F. Murray Abraham and is directed by Tony winner Michael Arden with music and lyrics by Oscar winner Stephen Schwartz. BW has a round-up of the reviews which were very mixed.
• LGBTQ Nation: Four people are dead and more than a dozen injured after a car crashed into the outdoor seating area in front of an LGBTQ nightclub in Tampa, Florida during last Saturday’s early morning hours.
