• BroadwayWorld: Broadway’s Cabaret revival will close a month earlier than previously announced. Additionally, the show’s current “Emcee” – Tony winner Billy Porter (above) – will not appear in the remainder of the run due to a case of sepsis.
The production’s two alternates for the role, Marty Lauter and David Merino, who have delivered strong performances throughout the run, will share the role for the final performances.
