Ben Cohen invites you to the beginning of Anti-Bullying Month in NYC

My man Ben Cohen tweeted this invite to start out October’s “Anti-Bullying Month” campaign with him at Kiehl’s in NYC on October 1st.

Mingle with Ben Cohen, enjoy free 20 minute facial, mingle with Ben, get 15% off any purchases (which will be donated to Ben’s StandUp Foundation), mingle with Ben…

What’s not to like?

It all happens from 5pm-8pm at Kiehl’s Flagship Store at 109 3rd Avenue in NYC on October 1, 2013.

Oh – and you get to mingle with Ben Cohen….

Ben Cohen asked for male dance partner for Strictly Come Dancing, looks to break down stereotypes

Rugby superstar and LGBT ally Ben Cohen has told the British press that he had been hoping to be paired with a male partner on Strictly Come Dancing:

The ex-England rugby star had hoped to be paired with pro Robin Windsor, but instead got stunning blonde Kristina Rihanoff.

Married dad-of-two Ben, 34, who has posed naked for magazines, said: “I’ve no qualms dancing with a woman or a man. Kristina will be easier to pick up though.”

Proud of being a gay pin-up, he added: “I like to break down stereotypes.”

Robin, 33, said at last week’s National Lottery Stars awards: “He kept saying to me, ‘I hope they put me with you’, but it wasn’t to be. “He’s amazing, the things he has done for the gay community. I adore him.”

Bestest wishes to the fantastic Ben Cohen on your 35th birthday!

Not only is Ben a world-class rugby champ, but the work he does with his StandUp Foundation to fight bullying makes him a hero many times over.

The StandUp Foundation’s mission is to raise awareness of the long-term, damaging effects of bullying and to raise funds to support those doing real-world work to stop it.

Ben inspires so many, and in so many ways. He gives a powerful voice to those who can’t be heard.

For those who join Ben in ending bullying everywhere, take a look at his website and maybe buy something to help support the StandUp Foundation.

Thanks, Ben, for all you do.  Hope your day “stands up” to the example you set.

p.s.  did I mention Ben is also very easy on the eyes?…

Shirtless Ben Cohen - this hot guy is standing up to bullying. How about you?

Shirtless Ben Cohen warms up for Strictly Come Dancing

Rugby star,  LGBT ally and Strictly Come Dancing contestant Ben Cohen decided to show his Facebook followers yesterday what kind of shape he’s been getting in for the tv dance competition, writing:

“Quick warm up before the photo shoot! #HowvainamI”

Wishing Ben the best on Strictly. And by the way – please keep the “warm up” pics coming. When you’ve got a Porsche you don’t keep it in the garage 🙂

Ben Cohen rumored to compete (shirtless) on Strictly Come Dancing

Guess who might appear shirtless on Britain’s version of Dancing With The Stars?

Whoo-hoo!

From The Metro:

Who is he: Chiseled member of England’s 2003 Rugby World cup winning squad, better known for his philanthropic work (he is founder of the anti-bullying organisation The Ben Cohen StandUp Foundation) since retiring from the game in 2011.

Chances of being true: Strictly has a long history of welcoming rugby stars on to the dancefloor. Some of them have even done quite well (Austin Healy, Kenny Logan, Matt Dawson and, against all the odds, Gavin Henson). So we don’t think it would be entirely out of the question for Ben to follow in their footsteps. And besides, we all know the show needs eye candy.

Would be most likely to: Have women (and, given his big gay following, quite a few men) swooning on the inevitable week when his shirt falls off entirely by accident.
