Four new bills filed in the Texas legislature aim to re-categorize bars or businesses that host drag shows as “sexually oriented businesses,” the same classification as adult movie theaters and sex shops. That would result in operating under different regulations as well as higher taxes and fees. Those increased pressures could compel the businesses to stop presenting drag performances or shut down altogether. Montana Man Guilty Of Hate Crime After Firing Assault Rifle Into Lesbian’s Home

A federal jury found John Russell Howald, 46, of Basin, Montana, guilty of hate and firearms crimes for firing an AK-style assault rifle at the residence of a woman, who identified as lesbian, and was home at the time.

Russia’s Parliament Approves Law Banning LGBT “Behavior”

Russia’s parliament has approved legislation supported by President Vladimir Putin that expands the country’s prohibition of “LGBT propaganda” and bans the “demonstration” of LGBT behavior. Team USA Adds Rainbow To Crest In Support Of LGBTQs At World Cup
