Franklin Graham: All Churches Should Require Anti-LGBTQ Pledge

Virulently homophobic ‘Christian’ Franklin Graham took to Facebook to applaud the First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, which requires every member to sign an anti-LGBTQ pledge or face being ejected from the church.

In fact, Graham believes all churches should institute similar hate vows.

Via Facebook:

Many churches today are being influenced by culture when it should be the other way around—the church should be influencing culture with the Word of God.

There are denominations and many churches that have compromised on what God’s Word says about things such as homosexuality, marriage, and abortion.

First Baptist Church of Jacksonville requires members to sign in agreement with a statement on Biblical sexuality. I think this is something that every church in America should adopt.

This takes the ifs, ands, and buts out of it: “As a member of First Baptist Church, I believe that God creates people in his image as either male or female, and that this creation is a fixed matter of human biology, not individual choice. I believe marriage is instituted by God, not government, is between one man and one woman, and is the only context for sexual desire and expression.”

Way to go First Baptist Church of Jacksonville! I hope thousands of churches will follow your example. God bless you!

Personally, I think Graham should focus more on the numerous church leaders arrested for sexual assault, many of the victims being children.

Joe Jervis of JoeMyGod keeps a running list of the numerous reports each month of pastors, youth pastors, church school principals and more who’ve been charged by law enforcement across the country on child sex charges.

These are reports from just this month…so far.
