Some news items you might have missed: • them: A suspect has been arrested in connection with the deaths of Mickey Harmon and Jordan Celotto, (above) who were found dead in their home on Tuesday, March 4. • MAX: Season 4 of the Emmy Award-winning comedy series Hacks – currently my favorite sitcom – premieres April 10. #squeee! Official synopsis: “Tensions rise as Deborah and Ava endeavor to get their late-night show off the ground and make history doing it.” • LGBTQ Nation: GOP lawmakers in West Virginia passed a bill that would allow health care providers to “visually or physically examine a minor child” for the purpose of identifying their “biological sex” without the “consent of the child’s parent, guardian, or custodian.” • Gayety: Seven people, including Sam Nordquist’s former partner, pleaded not guilty Tuesday to a slew of charges related to the brutal killing of the 24-year-old Black transgender man. • ABC News: The Department of Education began mass layoffs this evening, reducing its workforce by nearly 50 percent. DOE workers received a cryptic email saying they had to vacate their office buildings by 6pm, take their laptops with them, and offices would be closed to everyone on Wednesday.
