The news of the divorce filing comes hours after ET first learned that the couple had decided to split up.
A source told ET on Wednesday morning, “Britney and Sam have split. She’s adamant she didn’t cheat. The two haven’t got along for a while, and it finally came to an end after a major blowup.”

Back in May TMZ reported “deep trouble” between the couple. According to reports, Sam wasn’t sleeping at their home, and Britney allegedly got physical with him in fights that included screaming matches.
The two met in 2016 on the set of her music video “Slumber Party,” where Asghari was featured. They dated for six years and married in June 2022.
