Check out the trailer for the upcoming queer coming-of-age romantic comedy, Crush, from Hulu. It looks totally adorbs.
Official synopsis: “When an aspiring young artist is forced to join her high school track team, she uses it as an opportunity to pursue the girl she’s been harboring a long-time crush on. But she soon finds herself falling for an unexpected teammate and discovers what real love feels like.”
Starring Disney alum Rowan Blanchard (Girl Meets World) and Auli’i Cravalho (Moana), plus Megan Mullally (Will & Grace) as a “tries a bit too hard to be cool” mom.
I’m hoping this lives up to previous queer rom-coms like Love, Simon and The Thing About Harry, both of which I enjoyed muchly.
Crush premieres on Hulu April 29.
I’m pretty sure my 16yr old closeted self would have appreciated a movie like this back then 😏🏳️🌈

I would have killed for these movies when I was a teen. Love this.
