Poll: Trump Has Lowest 100-Day Approval Rating In 80 Years

The latest ABC News/Washington Post polling shows Donald Trump has the lowest 100-day approval rating of any president in 80 years. From ABC News:

Thirty-nine percent of respondents in this ABC News/Washington Post/Ipsos poll said they approve of how Trump is handling his job as president, down 6 percentage points from February, while 55% said they disapprove.

The previous low in approval for a president at or near 100 days in office, in polls dating to 1945, was Trump’s 42% in 2017.

Seventy-three percent said the economy is in bad shape, 53% said it’s gotten worse since Trump took office and 41% said their own finances have worsened.

As I reported at the time, President Joe Biden’s approval rating at his 100-day mark was up at 52%. You can watch the report below and read more at ABC News. Other 100-day polling shows similar historic low approval ratings.

New CNN Poll: Trump’s 41% approval rating is the lowest for any newly elected president at 100 days dating back at least to Eisenhower
