Catching up on some of the day’s headlines:
• Instinct Magazine: Rob G (above) is this week’s Hottie of the Week, but there’s a whole lot more to him than just his woofy good looks.
• Variety: During an appearance on the “Just for Variety” podcast, Marc Malkin asked Julianna Margulies if she had any reservations about playing gay on The Morning Show. “Who’s to say I haven’t had my own gay experiences?” Margulies replied. “We’re making assumptions.”
• Washington Blade: LGBTQ people are being hunted down in Afghanistan now that the Taliban is back in control of the country.
• The Advocate: Daniel Jenkins (below), one of four men who pleaded guilty to crimes against gay men they met through Grindr, was sentenced to 23 years and four months in federal prison.

• Anchorage Daily News: Conservative political activist WilliamTopel died Wednesday, according to a longtime friend. Topel, who had testified at numerous Anchorage Assembly meetings against pandemic precautions including “so-called COVID-19 vaccinations,” was hospitalized late last week after contracting the virus.
• NPR: The Justice Department has agreed to restore full law enforcement benefits for former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, who was fired by the Trump administration just hours before his retirement three years ago. The DOJ demoted and then dismissed him on the eve of his 50th birthday in March 2018, when his FBI annuity would have vested.
• Instagram: So many doggos celebrated birthday with their InstaHumans today including Max Emerson and the adorbs Sargeant Pupper.
