Some news items you might have missed: • AP News: Switzerland will recognize same-sex marriages from other countries beginning January 1. And starting July 1, the Alpine nation will allow gay and lesbian couples to wed.

Outsports: The International Olympic Committee announced Tuesday that their 17-year-old policy on transgender and non-binary participation will end effective March 2022, leaving individual sports to determine their own policies. • NBC News: Some married same-sex couples may get retroactive federal income tax refunds if President Biden’s Build Back Better Act passes in Congress. Couples would be able to file amended tax returns going back to 2004.

Instinct Magazine: Blocks of Desire is a Jenga-esque game for gay couples to deepen their connection and bring their love lives to a whole new level by adding more spontaneity and fun to their everyday sex lives. • Washington Post: At least 5 states are moving ahead with making COVID-19 booster shots available to all adults ahead of the holiday season.
