LGBTQ Nation: A bar in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, was fined $15K for anti-trans discrimination after a state commission found that the bar not only banned a trans woman from using the women’s restroom but also selectively scanned people’s IDs at the door with a policy that targeted trans patrons. New Olympic Policy Bars Trans Women From Competing

The International Olympic Committee announced a ban on transgender female athletes competing in women’s events.

Eligibility will be based on a one-time genetic screening for the SRY gene, which is typically associated with male sex development.

Athletes who test negative would be cleared to compete in women’s events, while those who test positive would be barred, with limited exceptions for some athletes with specific intersex variations.

The Advocate: Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger signed legislation today sending a slate of constitutional amendments to voters, including a measure that would finally erase the state’s ban on same-sex marriages and replace it with an affirmative right to marriage equality. Supreme Court Appears Inclined To Uphold Ban On Trans Girls In Sports

The Supreme Court’s conservative majority on Tuesday seemed inclined to uphold a pair of state laws barring the participation of transgender athletes from girls’ and women’s sports teams.
