Instagram: Out Olympian Adam Rippon shared the news that his “beautiful fiancé finally moved to LA.” Rippon and Jussi-Pekka Kajaala  have been traveling back and forth between California and Kajaala’s home country, Finland, since they began dating in 2018.

LGBTQ Nation: The U.S. Senate confirmed Christopher Lamora, an out gay man, as the ambassador to Cameroon. Note: homosexuality is illegal in the country.

White House: President Biden announced new actions to protect Americans as the omicron variant begins to surge in the U.S. including increased support for hospitals, and free at-home COVID tests for each residential address.

Florida Politics: Meanwhile, Florida saw its recent COVID-19 caseload more than triple in the past week. Tuesday’s data shows Florida confirmed 49,473 new cases in the most recent seven days through Sunday.
