New Polling Shows Trump Job Approval At 40% While 56% Disapprove

The latest New York Times/Siena poll shows just 40% approve of the job Donald Trump is doing, while his disapproval rating has edged up to 56%.

Here are a few bullet points from the recent survey:

• Only 32% of respondents say the country is in better shape than a year ago, while 49% say we are worse off. Nineteen percent say “about the same.”

• Only 34% of independent voters approve of the job Trump is doing. And twice as many independent voters think the country is worse off now compared with a year ago than better, 52% to 24%.

• 66% disapprove on how Trump has handled the release of the Epstein files (after he campaigned on releasing them). Just 22% approve.

The New York Times compiles a daily average of polls conducted by dozens of different organizations on Trump’s job approval which currently sits at 41% approval.

It was probably these polling results that sent Trump into an unhinged rant on his failing Truth Social platform saying “anti-Trump” polls should be “a criminal offense.”
