Out recording artist Michael Medrano’s latest single – “KARMA” – is a sultry, electro-pop banger that not only sounds but feels sexy. I spent the last 2 years being jerked around by a maaajor label only to watch it all fall apart. During this time I watched my sound get oversaturated, my ideas get done by bigger artists, and people I admired and loved deeply talk sh!t & turn their backs on me.

I was told to be straighter. I was told to be gayer. One day I was too much, the next I wasn’t enough. I watched the rug get pulled from under me in what felt like slow motion.

KARMA and all of the songs this era are a reflection on this time. The anger, the heartbreak, even the blind faith & excitement. The artwork for this song is me being buried in the label’s contract. They all tried to ice me out, but one thing they never knew about me is… I ALWAYS come back around.
