• New York Times: Kilmar Abrego Garcia, wrongfully deported to El Salvador in March and then brought back to face newly-filed criminal charges, was detained again today – 3 days after being freed from custody. The Trump administration says it wants to re-deport him, this time to Uganda. A federal judge immediately ruled he is not to be deported until a hearing is held.

• JoeMyGod: Donald Trump signed an executive order today mandating one full year in jail for protesters who burn American flags. However, the Supreme Court ruled in 1989 that flag burning is protected speech under the First Amendment.
• CNN: Numbers guy Harry Enten breaks down how Donald Trump actually owes his 2024 win to —– wait for it —- mail-in voting (which he now opposes).
Oh the irony: Trump only won in 2024 cause he greatly improved with mail-in ballots. He actually did worse vs. 2020 with in-person voters.
He should try to get souls to the polls, not end mail voting.
