Some news items you might have missed: • The Advocate: A new GLAAD-Ipsos survey shows 70% of Americans say that knowing a company offers LGBTQ Pride merchandise either positively affects or does not impact their purchasing decisions. • LGBTQ Nation: Straight ally John Piermatteo brings a sign to Pride events that says “Play Catch With a Dad,” inviting people to do just that. He’s has now taken his heartwarming trend to other Pride celebrations, helping LGBTQ people heal from trauma from their families of origin.
