• The Independent: FBI Director Kash Patel (bottom left in lead photo) is facing backlash for using an official FBI jet to travel to the Olympics as he appeared in a widely shared video chugging beer and partying alongside gold medal-winning members of Team USA hockey.
Kash Patel deserves a gold medal, too… for wasting tax payer money, and world class hypocrisy.

• The Advocate: A 33-year-old gay Florida man was shot and killed early Sunday outside the LGBTQ+ nightclub Savoy Orlando, and a suspect has been charged, according to authorities. The fatal shooting followed a verbal and physical confrontation as crowds were leaving the nightclub.
• LGBTQ Nation: The Netherlands made history today as Rob Jetten was sworn in as the country’s youngest and first-ever openly gay prime minister.
• CNBC: Europe is warning that trade deals struck with the U.S. could now be at risk after Donald Trump unveiled a new global 15% tariff on all imports over the weekend.
• Washington Post: A federal judge (appointed by Donald Trump) in Florida blocked public release of special counsel Jack Smith’s extensive report into the classified-documents case against Trump. Gee, what a surprise…
• Politico: Nicki Minaj has catapulted to conservative stardom. But along the way, her X account has been propped up by thousands of bots, according to a report from disinformation detection company.
