• LGBTQ Nation: A South Carolina mayor invited a man to sleep naked in his bed and then used the anti-gay slur “faggot” during a public comment portion of a Tuesday city council meeting. • Detroit News: Michigan lawmakers have begun the process to repeal the state’s law against sodomy, calling it a “zombie” law since a 2003 U.S. Supreme Court decision invalidated sodomy laws across the country.
