Bremen Menelli and Hugo (screen capture)

Checking in to see what some of my favorite InstaHunks are up to this fine weekend.

Francesc Gascó had to work on Saturday, so the ambitious paleontologist got up early for a 5K run. I’m sweating just thinking about it…

Chippendales reminds us what Friday nights used to be like in Las Vegas 🙂

Modern Bears’ Travis and his boo, John White, shared their wedding pics:

It was a week before our originally scheduled but then cancelled wedding date of May 23rd when our good friends the Bartons, invited us over for dinner. We were all still trying to physically and emotionally navigate Covid’s ravaged takeover of the world we knew. The Barton family, Greg, Dee Dee, and daughters Maddie and Chloe had been in serious quarantine lock-down for weeks, not venturing out, or seeing people. We talked about the postponement of our wedding and shed some tears. And then Dee Dee said, “hey, why don’t you still get married? I can legally officiate it, and we’ll just do it here on your original day, May 23rd.” And so, a week later, we did. We were touched by the family’s enthusiasm and efforts in making the moment special for us, and it was beyond lovely. Maddie, an incredibly talented musician, played our wedding dance song on her sax, “That Sunday, That Summer” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAuPoFRugsM) and we slow danced by their pool. Dee Dee had emailed each of us questions about out how we met, etc. earlier in the week and then integrated each of our answers into her marriage ceremony speech before marrying us. We all cried and ate chocolate wedding cake. We decided to just keep it to ourselves until we could do it officially before all of our family and friends on November 28th, the new date for the wedding. November 28th seemed like a long ways away when we rescheduled our wedding back in early May. Surely everything would be back to some sort of normalcy by then, where we could all be together again sans masks and social distancing. But here we are. So, we’ve decided to postpone our wedding celebration party until Fall of next year. And we hope and pray for so many reasons that we will ALL be able to celebrate together by then. A huge thanks to that sweet family for opening up their home and hearts to us, and making our wedding happen ❤️. #gaylove #gaywedding #covidwedding #gaymarriage #gaycouple #lovewins #bearcouple
