• NBC News: Italian fashion designer Valentino Garavani has died at the age of 93. Known only by his first name, Valentino created a business empire scaling the heights of haute couture, adored by generations of royals, first ladies and movie stars.

• Gay City News: A man in NYC suffered anti-LGBTQ attack on the subway after kissing trans partner. The assailant attacked the 28-year-old victim on the right side of his face, causing a laceration.
