Some news items you might have missed: • Attitude: Janne Puhakka (above), 29, Finland’s first out gay professional hockey player, was found dead Sunday in his home. His partner, 66-year-old Norwegian veterinarian Rolf Nordmo, has now confessed to killing him. • The Daily Mail: Former Bachelorette contestant Josh Seiter has claimed he has been transitioning from male to female for the past several months. Today, he revealed it was all an elaborate hoax to “expose how gullible and delusional the left is.” In other words, he said he was trans, folks treated him respectfully, and somehow he’s “owned” the left? In August 2023, he was part of a death hoax after a statement posted to his Instagram account claimed he had died at the age of 36.

• The Advocate: The owners of a Honolulu gay bar has been awarded a $670k settlement in its lawsuit against anti-LGBTQ+ liquor inspectors following emotional testimony. • Calendar Season: Famed photographer Mike Ruiz’s “Mutts and Muscles 2025 Calendar,” benefiting Louie’s Legacy Animal Rescue, is now available for pre-order. 
• Human Rights Campaign: Today is International Pronouns Day underscoring the basic mutual respect of using someone’s preferred pronouns in social situations, including the workplace, classroom, and more. • Axios: President Biden and former Presidents Obama and Clinton attended the funeral of Ethel Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy’s widow, on Wednesday. It was a rare sighting of Biden and Obama together since the president dropped out of the 2024 race.
