Acclaimed recording artist/producer DJ Bill Bennett drops “DILF Act 2,” the second installment of his deeply personal sonic trilogy.
“DILF Act 2” immediately soared to #1 on the US iTunes dance chart, and has hit #1 on the iTunes charts in three countries so far.
“DILF Act 1” debuted on the US iTunes chart and held the #1 position for 5 consecutive weeks, before going on to hit #1 in 7 countries.
The DILF Project is a trilogy — written and conceived as a full musical — chronicling the life of a gay man from his 30s through his 50s.
Through his writing, based on his own experience coming out of a deeply-painful relationship with a narcissist, Bennett found the story he wanted to tell was much bigger than just one album. So, the project became a trilogy.
“When I looked at the catalog, it made me think of a play,” he explains. “This needs to be a story with a beginning, middle and end. ‘DILF Act 1’ is the realization of where I was. ‘Act 2’ talks about the core of how I felt, what I went through. And ‘Act 3’ is really about the healing aspect of it and just the love.”
“DILF Act 1” and “DILF Act 2” are available now on all major music platforms. “DILF Act 3” — the finale — arrives July 3, 2026.
