• Gayety: The Ruby Fruit, a beloved lesbian bar in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles that had served as a vital gathering spot for the LGBTQ+ community, has closed due to the ongoing-wildfires leaving only one in the city. • People: Out gay ABC News chief international correspondent James Longman shares how he navigates his genetic predisposition for depression in his new memoir, The Inherited Mind.
• The Caftan Chronicles: The irrepressible Jessay Martin – one of the “Old Gays” of social media fame – shares his joy, his cancer journey, his singing voice & his love of Patti LaBelle with Tim Murphy. • LGBTQ Nation: Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) raged at Rep. Sarah McBride (D-DE) on social media calling her a “groomer” and a “child predator” over a video of McBride reading to school children. McBride, the first trans member of Congress, is neither a predator nor groomer. • Out Music: Lesbian viral sensation Gigi Perez has admitted that her queer anthem “Sailor Song” changed her life, adding that it had really “resonated” with her young LGBTQ+ audience.
