• Rage Monthly: Out comedian Matteo Lane talks about the work, rhythm, and obsession that makes his comedy look effortless.
• LGBTQ Nation: Time announced its list of the 100 Most Influential People for 2026. At least six members of the LGBTQ+ community are featured including Tony Award winners Jonathan Groff and Alan Cumming, as well as legal director of the National Center for LGBTQ Rights, Shannon Minter.

• The Advocate: For 26 years, an Ohio drag queen has hosted a local TV show. Darryl Bohannon, known as Ms. Demure, has built something both hyper-local and quietly historic: a public-access show weaving together drag, conversation, and community storytelling. A proposed drag ban could end it.
• New York Times: A light-hearted look at how some folks might view their dogs through the “better-than-average effect,” a cognitive bias in which people tend to overestimate their own abilities, and those of their loved ones. That said, I know Brody the wonder dog is the smartest dog ever.

• JNS: Mack Davis, 23, was sentenced to 7 years in federal prison for planning a mass-casualty attack targeting LGBTQ people and Jews. Davis spent months compiling weapons lists and surveilling potential targets including a nearby bar he believed would be frequented by gay people.
• Tribeca Film Festival: The new documentary Mineshaft: The Cruising Murders will have its world premiere at the 2026 Tribeca Festival in June, near where the gruesome murders it covers took place.
The crimes inspired the film Cruising, and have become an important true crime of LGBTQ+ and NYC history. It’s sure to be a must-see.
