Donald Trump Jr: The Media Would “Be Warming Up The Gas Chamber” If My Dad Lied Like Hillary

Speaking to Philadelphia Talk Radio 1210 WPHT, Donald Trump Jr. casually referenced the Holocaust as he explained that his dad, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, has been treated differently by the media.

“The media has been her number one surrogate in this. Without the media, this wouldn’t even be a contest, but the media has built her up. They’ve let her slide on every indiscrepancy, on every lie, on every DNC game trying to get Bernie Sanders out of this thing. If Republicans were doing that, they’d be warming up the gas chamber right now.”

Comparing what he calls bad media coverage to Nazi death camps. Wow.

That would be the media that has literally televised entire campaign rally speeches, and allowed Trump to call in to political shows for sheer convenience.

Trump Jr. later tolday NBC News’ Katy Tur that the “joke” was about “corporal punishment” and not the Holocaust. Although I don’t know how you mention “gas chambers” without invoking the Holocaust.

Donald Trump Jr: Releasing My Dad’s Tax Returns Would “Distract” From Campaign Message

According to CNN, Donald Trump Jr. has let the cat out of the bag regarding the real reason his dad won’t release his tax records.

And it’s not because of an audit.

Donald Trump’s son argued his father can’t release his tax returns because that would allow voters to scrutinize them in a way that would detract from the candidate’s main message. That’s contrary to what the Republican presidential nominee has said about not releasing them because they are being audited.

Donald Trump, Jr. was asked by the Tribune-Review in Pennsylvania why his father won’t publicly disclose his tax returns as candidates in both parties — including rival Hillary Clinton — have traditionally done.

“Because he’s got a 12,000-page tax return that would create … financial auditors out of every person in the country asking questions that would detract from (his father’s) main message,” Donald Trump, Jr. told the newspaper in a piece published Wednesday.

The Republican nominee has said he is not releasing his tax returns because he is being audited by the Internal Revenue Service, although under law there is nothing that prevents a person under audit from disclosing their returns should they chose to do so.

Now, gee, what do you think could be in those tax returns that would “detract” from the Trumpster’s message?

Things that make you go “hmm….”

By the way, Trump has also said that when “Hillary Clinton releases her emails” he would release his tax returns. So, the audit excuse is simply that – an excuse.

Donald Trump Promises 35% Tax On Mexican Made Cars

Donald Trump seems to think he can impose taxes at will.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said he would impose a 35% tax on any cars made in Mexico to keep companies from moving out of the US. Discussing a scenario where a car company wanted to build a plant in Mexico, Trump stated, “What would President Trump do? So I’d call the head of Ford, or whatever company, but I’d call the head of Ford. I’d say, ‘Congratulations, I understand you’re building a massive plant, in Mexico, and you’re taking a lot of jobs away from us in Michigan and other places. I don’t like that. I don’t like it. I just don’t like it.’ And he’ll say, ‘Well, Mr. President. It’s wonderful, wonderful for the economy. Oh, great, just great.’

“It’s wonderful for whose economy? Not for our economy. We lose on everything. We lose on jobs. We lose on money. We lose on everything. So, what I’d say is the following: ‘I don’t want you to do that. And if you do it, you’re not going to have any cars coming across the border unless you pay a 35% tax.’ That’s it. That’s it. No, that’s it! And they’re going to say — they’re going to say to me, ‘Mr. President, please, please, please.’ Now, I guarantee you. Let’s say I make this call at 9:00 in the morning, by 5:00 in the afternoon, I think the deal is done, they move back to the United States.”

Funny: “Ellen & Michelle’s Big CVS Adventure”

Ellen DeGeneres and First Lady Michelle Obama needs their own sitcom.

In preparation of Michelle’s impending departure from the White House, Ellen sought to reintroduce the First Lady to the wonderful world of CVS shopping, but thing go awry when Ellen gets out of hand.

The two (mostly Ellen, really) wreaked havoc around the CVS. They rummaged through magazines, bought Sasha Obama headphones and tried to give store employees back scratches. One lucky customer also got to teach Obama everything she needs to know about boxed wine.

“You are really not a good person to shop with,” Obama eventually told DeGeneres before she tried to sign a woman’s baby. “You know you’re really annoying,” Obama said. “It’s like taking a 3-year-old to the store.”

Hillary Clinton’s Doctor Says Clinton Is “Healthy And Fit To Serve As President”

Now this is how the public should be informed about the health of a potential president.

Hillary Clinton’s personal physician issued a statement today regarding Clinton’s current progress regarding mild pneumonia and her health in general.

Hillary Clinton is “recovering well” from pneumonia and remains “fit to serve as President of the United States,” her doctor said in a letter released Wednesday by her campaign. The health details made public by the Democratic presidential nominee included a description of the pneumonia diagnosis Clinton received last week Friday. Her illness became public after she left Sunday’s 9/11 memorial service early and was seen on video staggering while getting into a van.

The letter released Wednesday by the campaign stated that Clinton underwent a chest scan that revealed she had “mild, non-contagious bacterial pneumonia,” according to Clinton’s physician, Dr. Lisa Bardack, chair of internal medicine at CareMount Medical in Mount Kisco, New York. She was treated with a 10-day course of Levaquin, an antibiotic used to treat infections.

Bardack said Clinton is up to date on all vaccines, including two given to help prevent pneumonia — Prevnar and Pneumovax. The letter did not state when she received those vaccines. “She is recovering well with antibiotics and rest,” wrote Bardack, who also authored a letter about Clinton’s health released in July 2015. “She continues to remain healthy and fit to serve as President of the United States.”

Clinton, 68, has blood pressure of 100 over 70. Her total cholesterol was 189; her LDL or “bad” cholesterol was 103, and her HDL or “good” cholesterol was 56 — all within healthy levels and not signaling the need for any medications. She has also had a normal mammogram and breast ultrasound, according to the letter. She takes thyroid and allergy medicines and the blood thinner Coumadin, prescribed as a preventative after she suffered a blood clot resulting from a 2012 concussion.

Brian Justin Crum Sings “Man In The Mirror” For AGT Finale

Singing a dark, brooding cover of Michael Jackson’s “Man in the Mirror,” on the finale of America’s Got Talent last night, fan favorite Brian Justin Crum may have won himself the $1 million prize.

An introspective approach to the song matched with Crum’s scorched earth vocals became an intense, showstopping moment for the audience.

The judges liked.

Simon Cowell: “I thought when the song first started, you just made a huge mistake here. And then halfway through, I thought, actually, you know what, you’ve just made the best decision of your life with that song,'”

Howie Mandel: “Epic.”

Coming into the competition, Crum brings years of experience having performed on the concert stage and on Broadway. Along his AGT journey,  Crum has inspired countless LGBT youth by sharing his story of being bullied.

After his performance, Crum said, “Tonight was for everybody who has felt like they don’t belong, like they aren’t good enough. I love you so much, and thank you.”

Colin Powell’s Hacked Emails: Donald Trump Is “An International Pariah”

It appears email hacking continues to be the latest rage in this crazy election.

Today, we hear that hacking site DCleaks.com has released two years worth of former Secretary of State Colin Powell’s private emails. Among the more interesting communications are those that refer to Donald Trump as a “national disgrace” and Republicans’ Benghazi investigations as a “witch hunt.”

Powell has privately denounced Republican nominee Donald Trump in remarkably strong terms. “Trump is a national disgrace and an international pariah,” Powell wrote in an email this June, as BuzzFeed News first reported. The email was sent to a journalist who had previously worked for Powell.

In another email, Powell wrote that Trump “appeals to the worst angels of the GOP nature and poor white folks,” according to CNN. And elsewhere, he wrote that “the whole birther movement” — headed by Trump — “was racist.”

Powell also had a similarly strongly worded dismissal of Republicans’ obsession with investigating the Benghazi attacks, and suggested the blame should fall on the late ambassador Chris Stevens for not taking his own security seriously enough. “Benghazi is a stupid witch hunt,” he wrote in a December 2015 email to Condoleezza Rice, again according to BuzzFeed News. “Basic fault falls on a courageous ambassador who thoughts [sic] Libyans now love me and I am ok in this very vulnerable place.”

Powell told NBC News that the emails are indeed real, adding, “The hackers have a lot more.”

DCLeaks has been previously been alleged to have ties to Russian intelligence.

Polls: Donald Trump Leads Hillary Clinton In Ohio & Florida

The latest CNN/ORC polls in swing states Ohio and Florida show Republican Donald Trump holds a slight edge in each.

In Ohio, it’s Trump up with 46% support and Democrat Hillary Clinton at 41%.

In Florida, likely voters lean Trump by 47% while Hillary trails at 44%.

The tightening appears in part due to pollsters reporting more heavily on Likely voters after Labor Day rather than Registered voters.

Under a registered voter screen, Clinton leads Trump 45% to 44% in Florida. In Ohio, Trump tops Clinton with registered voters 43% to 39%.

Nate Silver at FiveThirtyEight.com now puts Clinton’s odds of winning at 64.1%.
