During a recent appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, Rosie O’Donnell told Andy Cohen that she knew about Whitney Houston’s longtime romance with Robyn Crawford.
“Everyone sort of knew it,” said O’Donnell, who also expressed surprise that Houston recording empresario Clive Davis had feigned ignorance about the relationship. “I don’t believe that for one minute,” she said.
Academy Award-winner Meryl Streep herself sat down to interview legendary Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour who Streep brilliantly portrayed in The Devil Wears Prada.
But it wasn’t Prada Streep was there to discuss. The main topic at hand was her role in Steven Spielberg’s new film, The Post, in which Streep portrays Wintour’s longtime friend, Kay Graham, the former publisher of The Washington Post.
Along the way, the duo discuss other current issues including the Mueller investigation, sexual harassment and dining room table chat.
After meeting privately with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation summit meeting in Danang, Vietnam, Donald Trump said that he had asked whether Russia had meddled in last year’s presidential election.
According to Trump, Putin not only denied the allegation but appeared “insulted” by the issue.
“He said he didn’t meddle — I asked him again,” Mr. Trump told reporters traveling with him aboard Air Force One as he flew to Hanoi for more meetings. “You can only ask so many times. I just asked him again. He said he absolutely did not meddle in our election. He did not do what they are saying he did.”
Mr. Trump did not answer a direct question about whether he believed Mr. Putin’s denials, but his account of the conversation indicated he was far more inclined to accept the Russian president’s assertions than those of his own intelligence agencies, which have concluded that Mr. Putin directed an elaborate effort to interfere in the vote.
“Every time he sees me he says, ‘I didn’t do that,’ and I really believe that when he tells me that, he means it,” Mr. Trump said of Mr. Putin. “I think he is very insulted by it, which is not a good thing for our country.”
Mr. Trump heaped disdain on the former leaders of three American intelligence agencies — John O. Brennan, the former C.I.A. director; James R. Clapper Jr., the former director of national intelligence; and James B. Comey, the F.B.I. director he fired this year — appearing to suggest that they were less trustworthy than Mr. Putin.
“I mean, give me a break — they’re political hacks,” Mr. Trump said. “You have Brennan, you have Clapper, and you have Comey. Comey’s proven now to be a liar, and he’s proven to be a leaker, so you look at that. And you have President Putin very strongly, vehemently says he had nothing to do with that.”
So, to recap: Donald Trump believes a man who was trained as a KGB agent to lie successfully, and throws dedicated U.S. intelligence leaders under the bus.
Got it?

When the President of the United States believes Putin over our own FBI, CIA, and NSA it says something about who he likes and trusts. He prefers Putin over men and women who risk their lives for us. https://t.co/AMsPqttXLk
“[Putin] said he didn’t meddle. I asked him again. You can only ask so many times. And I believe… I think he is very insulted by it.”
You know who else is insulted by it, Mr. President? The American people. You believe a foreign adversary over your own intelligence agencies. https://t.co/lZkQAch7CT

The president attacks those who serve to keep us safe, while he covers for a foreign adversary’s attacks on our freedom. We’ve never faced this kind of challenge before, but it’s every bit as bad as it sounds. https://t.co/SVFKPrjkkr
It’s staggering that the U.S. President takes the word of a Russian dictator who presides over the killings of journalists, over his own intelligence community. https://t.co/NhtJwvM472

During an interview on Sean Hannity’s radio show today, embattled Alabama Republican Senate nominee Roy Moore denied any truth to the allegations raised in an explosive Washington Post article in which 4 women detailed inappropriate behavior by Moore when he was in his early 30s.
Moore began with saying the entire reporting was “completely false and misleading,” but then muddied the waters as he continued.
Later in the interview, he admitted he remembered knowing two of the women.
Hannity went through the Post story and detailed the allegations of the four accusers. Moore claimed to know two of four, but denied any instance of misconduct with either. In response to the allegations involving Debbie Wesson Gibson, Moore said, “I don’t remember going out on dates. I knew her as a friend. If we did go out on dates, then we did. But I don’t remember that.”
Speaking of the late 1970s and early 1980s, Moore said he “dated a lot of young ladies” after “my return from the military.”
“I do recognize the names of two of these young women,” he said of Gibson and Deason, denying that he gave the latter alcohol when she was underage. “As I recall, she was 19 or older.”
Asked if he remembers dating teenage women when he was older than 30, Moore said, “Not generally, no.”
“I don’t remember dating any girl without the permission of her mother,” he said. He later pointed to The Post’s story and said, “These two young girls actually said their mothers encouraged them to be friends with me.”
After a commercial break, Moore became more forceful in his denials of dating teenagers. He said doing so “would be out of my customary behavior” and that he “never” would have dated a teen without her mother’s permission.
“Not generally, no” is not a “No.”
The Twitterverse had a field day:
“You ever burglarize vacant homes while their owners were on vacation?”
Due to family medical emergencies, Lisa Harris and Hayley Angell of Great Britain had spent months living half a world away from each other.
Hayley’s father had grown ill and passed away due to cancer, and her mother had severe mobility issues requiring extra care.
Flying back to Britain was not in the couple’s budget, so after learning about British Airway’s “BAMagic” program, Lisa reached out to the airline.
Not only did British Airways get involved, the airline arranged to fly Angell and her mother to the UK for a vacation in high style.
“The magic of being able to be reunited with my wife is totally unexpected,” Hayley told British Airways. “The magic of being able to take my mum on the holiday that I’ve been promising her we would go on ever since we lost my dad.”
Via the BAMagic program, the airline has surprised people with travel all over the world. Hit the link for more stories of surprise travel.
