Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Sentenced To 50 Months In Prison

U.S. District Court Judge Arun Subramanian sentenced Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs to 50 months in prison today after having been found guilty on two counts of transporting former girlfriends for prostitution.

Majority Of Trump Voters Support Extending Obamacare Subsidies

As we head into Day Three of the federal government shutdown, Senators will try again to reopen the federal government with votes on funding bills scheduled this afternoon.

Behind the scenes, dealmakers from both sides of the political spectrum are attempting to come up with a deal that could get enough Democrats to support a funding measure.

One consideration is a shorter funding extension through Oct. 31, which Democrats say could keep pressure on Republicans to extend Affordable Care Act subsidies — originally put in place during covid-19 — before the open enrollment period begins on Nov. 1. Employment Report: U.S. Lost 32,000 Jobs In September

ADP reports the US economy lost 32,000 jobs in September

There won’t be a September jobs report released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics today thanks to the shutdown of the federal government.

But we do have the ADP National Employment Report, which shows the U.S. lost 32,000 private sector jobs in September. Experts had predicted a gain of about 50,000 jobs.
