• What To Watch: The indie series Open To It is back for Season 2 as gay couple Greg (Frank Arthur Smith) and Cam (Tim Wardell) continue their adventures with polyamory including a Deaf love interest, drag royalty, plus a naked pool party. Trailer below.
• Gay Times: In a recent podcast chat, Charlie Sheen worked to clear up a few things about his past sexual experiences with men after he mentioned having same-sex encounters when he was using crack in an interview. “It wasn’t full-fledged, man… they say you experiment in college, you know? I never went to college, so maybe that explains it.”
• San Antonio Express: San Antonio’s first out mayor, Gina Ortiz Jones, doesn’t think saving the rainbow crosswalks in the heart of the city’s “gay strip” is worth antagonizing Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and potentially jeopardizing state or federal funding coming to San Antonio. “Y’all, my pride is not tied to this paint. You know why? Because it’s in my heart and my head.”
