• Socialite Life: Benito Skinner (above) announced that Season 2 of his hit Prime Video series Overcompensating is now filming. The show earned a 94% on Rotten Tomatoes and was renewed in September 2025.

Palm Beach County Reverses, Agrees To Repair A/C At City-Owned LGBTQ Center

Yesterday I saw reports coming out of Florida that Palm Beach County denied a funding request to repair the air conditioning at a city-owned building that houses the Compass Community Center, South Florida’s oldest LGBTQ nonprofit.

The county pointed to a new state law, signed by Gov. Ron DeSantis on April 23, that prohibits funding for DEI programs. In other words – no help for the gays. However – the law doesn’t go into effect until 2027.

Trump Declares ‘Hostilities’ Between US & Iran Have Been ‘Terminated’

Donald Trump has reportedly told Congress the “hostilities” between the U.S. and Iran that Trump initiated on February 28 have been “terminated.”

Pennsylvania House Approves LGBTQ Nondiscrimination Protections

Lawmakers in the Pennsylvania House have approved legislation that would enshrine nondiscrimination protections for LGBTQ people into state law.

Pentagon Asks Congress To Codify “Department Of War,” Requests $52M To Complete Renaming

The Pentagon has asked Congress to codify its “Department of War” renaming and requested nearly $52 million to complete the name change.
